Update: hi local owner! I suggest you familiarize yourself with the franchise you bought. This gc was part of a holiday promotion. Ie why it may not look like your typical gc. Furthermore, as a “locally” owned business you would assume you would want to acquire more customers as your employees would have received a tip and future bookings. :) I had an appointment scheduled for Saturday to get my hair blown out for a special occasion unfortunately that won’t be happening anymore. I happened to be in the area and stopped in to ensure my gift certificate would work. I was told by management they would not accept it. No where on the gift certificate does it say specific location, expiration date, etc. This is extremely disheartening. Dry bar is not honoring a gift certificate that THEIR company has issued out for customers to buy. *barcode blacked out so it does not get used.

The concept of Drybar is so simple and easy. I love it. They give you a book with hairstyle options. You pick a style and it gets done. You also get champagne while you wait. My beautician was Rionna. She was nice and knew what she was doing. I asked her to keep my curls pinned up as I still had to iron, shower and do my makeup for an event that night. She explained how to undo the curls and let me tell you…..it looked amazing. My hair made me feel seeexxxy. Thank you Rionna for making it effortless.

I come here quite a bit and I have always appreciated these ladies. I have 4C hair and have always been cautious about my hair being detangled and pressed. The last 2visits to Dry Bar I have had Sophie and what a pleasure. Not to focus on race but I was so shocked that this young white girl was able to properly detangle and press my hair. A picture is worth a thousand words so here are the before and after.

BRIDES!!! Please do not go to this location for your wedding or use them for your bridal party!! The services they provided, and lack there of, resulted in a 2 hour delay on my wedding day that caused me to be unable to take bridal pictures and made me late for getting ready pictures.

While those things alone would cause me to caution against this location, it is largely because of the way they were utterly unprofessional, lacked customer service in every capacity, and did not provide a refund for services they did not provide due to lack of staff experience and time.

Myself (the bride), my mom, my flower girl, and four of my bridesmaids were scheduled to have our hair done either in an up do or a blow out. Due to the number of us we had to sign a contract. Upon arrival, the stylists made comments about us being their first bridal party and that they hadn’t done up dos before. While the staff was kind, the lack of professionalism on behalf of the business to staff individuals who lacked experience for someone’s wedding was appalling.

My hair was supposed to take an hour and took two and a half almost three. I came into the appointment with pictures and a clear description of the simple updo I wanted. All my bridal party members were the same. I left with a hair style that wasn’t at all what I asked for and an hour and a half late to kick off my wedding day. My hair had to be completely redone as did several of the bridesmaids. My sister’s blow out was the opposite of what she asked for in every way. They couldn’t figure out how to place a clip in my mom’s thick, easily styled hair. My niece was supposed to have an up do and they only had time to curl it and put it in a pony tail but still charged us the $99 up do fee for an up do we had to do ourselves when we got to the venue. I could go on, but hopefully by this point you’ve canceled your appointment or at least changed locations.

After my wedding we tried to get a refund, or at a minimum, a refund for the services we were not provided. They have been rude, lacked understanding, refused to take ownership, and banned my sister in law from coming back. She gets her hair done at dry bar, specifically this location, for a blow out every other week and because she asked for them to make the situation right in some way, she is banned.

Never would I want any bride to go through the mess, stress, expense, and disappointment that I experienced. My friend was supposed to have herself, her mom and future mother in law, and all 11 of her bridesmaids get their hair done there. After seeing my hair, my bridesmaids hair, etc, she...

My wife, my sisters, and sisters in law all went to this location for updo’s and blowouts for my sister’s wedding in the middle of November this year. They all had appointments. The experience for all of them was absolutely horrible. Not only was the location short staffed, but they didn’t have anyone working that was trained to do an updo, despite accepting that request on the online appointment questionnaire. The stylists fumbled through trying to figure out how to do everyone’s hair, and botched each of them to the point they had to all be redone. This made the entire bridal party be in the location for 3+ hours, making everyone late to the wedding. The location would not even offer an apology for how bad the experience was. On top of that, they would not offer ANY refunds, despite not being able to provide the services they said they could. Everyone in the bridal party had to redo their hair themselves onsite at the venue because the job Dry Bar did was SO BAD. There is no way to get money back from this group, even though they don’t do the work they promise they will and what they charge you for. We have not been able to get a hold of the owner of this location, despite trying multiple times to speak to someone. The only person we can speak to is a lady named Christina - and she just says it is what it is, and they’re charging us the money despite the fact that no one got what they paid for. This location simply didn’t do the service they charged for, so we will not be going back here, and encourage others to...

My sister and I recently frequented the dry bar in this location and I’d say the experience was okay. The staff was nice but I did not like the fact that my sister was told that the next time we make an appointment we need to make a note that we had “textured hair” so they can make sure someone is available to do our hair. No where on the website does it state to put a note in about your hair texture. My sister and I are black and if everyone at Drybar is licensed then they should specialize in all hair types. I originally started out with a white stylist that washed my hair but eventually she swapped with black stylist to finish my hair. The person who did my hair was great and informative but seemed in a rush. The stylist who did my sisters hair started 10 minutes before my stylist started mine and didn’t finish her hair for another 25+ minutes after mine. It seems like the staff lack diverse training and it’s sad to see, may have to try a different drybar location in the future but overall our hair...
