I had an important event that I wanted to look my best for so I booked a hydrafacial with Liz a full 8 weeks in advance. I’d received a hydrafacial from another esthetician there and didn’t find it as thorough so I specifically requested Liz. The day before, I hadn’t gotten a confirmation text so I called to confirm. They told me that I did not have an appointment scheduled and there were no times available. I believe it was accidentally deleted by a new employee the week before when I was in for a Botox touch-up even though I asked more than once to make sure it was still on the schedule. Not my fault. When I explained the situation to a manager, she seemed annoyed by how upset I was and offered to fit me in much later in the day (4:30 instead of 10:30). I expressed concern about how it would affect other appointments I had that day (brow tinting/lash lift at another place) and she responded “I just don’t know” in a frustrated tone. I ended up taking the appointment because that was my only choice. Day of, I was called at 3:30 to see if I would switch providers. I told them I could not and was then asked if I could come at 4pm instead of 4:30 to be seen by Liz. I rushed out to make it on time. When I arrived, there was no one at the front of the clinic. After waiting 8 minutes, I called “hello” because I could hear people talking and wanted to make sure I got checked in. Someone came out, checked me in and returned to the back where I heard comments like “oh is that the one who will only see Liz?” “All of our clients have been so mean to us this week” etc. The sound carries really well. I felt embarrassed to be there and was in tears as I walked into my facial. I was charged for my facial and nothing has been done to remedy the situation. I have been coming to OVME for years and spent thousands of dollars. As someone who works in customer service in the aesthetics field, I am absolutely appalled by how this situation was handled and how the employees behaved. I will not be returning for service here...
Read moreI called to set up an appointment for laser treatment for hyperpigmentation, I have had this done in the past and it worked well for me. I was very clear on the phone why I wanted to come in for an appt. The girl I spoke with said I had to come in for a consult first, I said okay. she booked my appt. (it was over a month out), finally when my appt. came up I was so excited, only the find the person who my appt. was booked with was completely confused when I told her I wanted to talk about laser treatments, she said well let me know go find someone who does that .... so I waited spoke to someone else, she would not do any laser treatments during the summer (??) she then said well let me go find someone else who can maybe help with a topical cream... I waited again, that person said no I don't prescribe that during the summer .... again makes zero sense. not sure if these ppl know this, but the sun comes out in the winter just as much as it does during the summer. also why did they even book an appt. with me if the whole reason I wanted to come in was something they "didn't do during the summer" ... it was a COMPLETE waste of my time going to this place, bunch of children running around with no idea what was going on, they couldn't even log into their own computers.. needless today, I will be looking elsewhere for my...
Read moreGood for facial services but avoid for their GLP-1 program. I signed up for the 4 month GLP-1 program at $499 a month. Was told it’s 4 months long, that’s it. They have options after to do a “maintenance plan” for less after. The package my script came in was not the pretty box they advertise and it was missing the Lcarnitine. I had to ask for that to be sent to me even thought it’s part of what I pay for. Then my second round of scripts was delayed and took almost 2 weeks to come, had to borrow a shot from a friend also in the program. Then the second batch came and one vial that’s now both B12 + Lcarnitine? Why wasn’t it like that in the first round? Then today had a 5th $499 charge to my card … they auto enroll you for after the 4 months you signed for, and don’t even tell you. Had to text the provider and she tried to ask me to come in for a check in and review maintenance plans … no. We spend a lot of money on this and the deception and lack of organization and structure has made me very frustrated. When my second script was delayed they did offer free products as a consolation but after today getting charged for no reason and against the terms of the membership I’m over it.
