Work service department I have ever dealt with. Dropped my computer of with a 2 to 3 day estimate on repairs. After calling e times within the week of it being there, I spoke with agents that were not only not in the store, probably in another country. They said it was ready for repair. It was not ready for repair when I arrived at the store it was not even a work order for it there. I was then told it would be another 2 to e days. That is u acceptable for a service that was started a week ago. I was promised by the manager that I would hear so.ethung the next dsy and yet again no call on the status. Looks like I will have to drive another 45 minutes to check and see. They were told that this computer was a work co.puter with a payroll program. So in other my employees have also been waiting in this time to get their paycheck. I doubt that any employee in Best Buy would be OK with not getting the money...

After 2 weeks, was placed on Geek Squad's call queue to get an update, but received no call after 24 hours. Instead, went to the store and was given the same original story of the item shipping to my house and Geek Squad couldn't do anything. Call Apple to check the issue, they say that Geek Squad has the product shipping to the original Best Buy, meaning Apple can't access the work order. Call Geek Squad's main helpline and they confirm what Apple said. Read moreSo, I took my computer in for them to get the data off. I brought in my external hard drive for them to transfer the stuff to. They call me and tell me my external hard drive won't work. That has 11 years of photos on and they want me to pay $1500 to TRY to recover the data from it. Why is it my responsibility to do that when it worked before I took it to them???
