Chatham first night was a blast... besides some of the food vendors outside that did not let you use credit cards or debit cards everything else was great... The events held at the community center were a lot of fun circus was fine.. what the most popular was the laser tag.. the teenagers couldn't get enough as a parent I sat there and waited for over two hours while my child ran around laser tagging people with awesome looking AR15 laser rifles. Was proud most of the young teens knew how to handle the weapon as if it was real... The event was well-planned the directions and safety comments were spoken clearly, so no one got hurt.... The community center seem like it was at a central location for a lot of the events, fireworks right in the field next to the community center, it was close to the rotary, close to Cumberland Farms....Good...
   Read moreI came by the Community Center pickleball courts to play with 3 friends on Tuesday, for a first time visit to the courts. I was absolutely appalled at the snobby treatment we received on at least 5 occasions. I have been playing pickleball for several years, at facilities around the country, and have never seen anything like it. We were the first ones there at 8:00am, gladly paid our $5 fee (actually paid double that fee), and for the next 2 hours, were asked on at least 5 different occasions, if we “were members” and did “we pay”. Frankly, it was a belittling experience, and one I don’t care to repeat. I will never set foot on that court again, and will be sure to let my fellow pickers around New England know that this is not a welcoming place to play. I was disgusted by the...
