This little cafe was such a pleasant surprise in the Cape. The non descriptor name is hiding some truly delicious homemade food with a Nepalese flair. We got the Momo, the Mediterranean panini and the best homemade chai latte I've had in a long time. The panini had fresh grilled vegetables with thick feta and the Momo can only be described as taking tiny bites of delicious beef stew presents. It comes with a very spicy sauce that my partner devoured and I barely used because my Irish stomach is incredibly lame when it comes to heat. The inside is small but you can sit outside and enjoy people watching while you wait. I can't wait to come back to sip some chai and try everything on the menu.

So good! From right to left bibimbap, fish sandwich with clam chowder, Caribbean jerk chicken and mo mo dumplings. SO good! Everything was full of flavor, made to order and FRESH! And we came 45 min before closing. The owner is kind and calm with a humble spirit. He told us how he almost climbed to the top of mt Everest in his home of Nepal. Highly rec. this place. I went with my senior parents and even for their more mild palate they highly enjoyed this place as did we all. Who knew such quality and and affordable price could be found in this little unassuming place.

Visiting here for the first time and will be coming back!! The restaurant is a family owned, so is the staff. They’re the coolest and nicest people I’ve ever met. We got an iced chai, iced latte, momo (dumplings), kimcheese sandwich, and poke bowl. The food and drinks are fantastic, they have a variety of food selections which include Nepali, Korean, Western,… cuisines. The place is spacious, cozy, and very clean. Highly recommend to try Public Cafe out, you won’t be disappointed.

Everything I have tried at this friendly, family owned restaurant has been delicious. I keep coming back for the Momos. The dumplings are fragrant, and wonderful eaten plain, but the spicy dipping sauce is incredible. It's spicy, but not hot. One order takes about 15 minutes to prepare, and is really enough for two people. I can finish it if eaten by itself, but it's filling! Take a look at the menu and be adventurous or not. I think everyone will find something they like here.

We went for lunch while shopping in Chatham. This is such a good find, it doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is delicious and a nice change of pace from all the pub food in the area. We had the MoMo dumplings and sandwiches, everything was delicious, all 4 of us were members of the clean plate club. The staff were super friendly and we ate outside. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a creative and innovative stop for lunch on the cape!

I ordered the BLT with avocado and my son ordered the chicken tikka. My sandwich was really good, but I had order envy. The family behind me ordered momos. They close at 3PM during the week. That means I need to wait until tomorrow to come back for the chicken tikka and momos! I wanted a matcha but their matcha was a pre-sweetened mix. Not great for the matcha aficionado. No bathroom for customers. That is why I took a couple of stars off. I really had to go.
