This little cafe was such a pleasant surprise in the Cape. The non descriptor name is hiding some truly delicious homemade food with a Nepalese flair. We got the Momo, the Mediterranean panini and the best homemade chai latte I've had in a long time. The panini had fresh grilled vegetables with thick feta and the Momo can only be described as taking tiny bites of delicious beef stew presents. It comes with a very spicy sauce that my partner devoured and I barely used because my Irish stomach is incredibly lame when it comes to heat. Read moreMy husband and I have been coming to this cafe for almost a year now even after moving away from Chatham, and still can't get enough! The house chai and mocha are top favorites for both of us. I'd even say it's the best of its kind I ever had. My personal favorite is Bibimbap, the vegetables are always crisp and fresh and the meat is cooked moist and soft. My husband loves their momo. It's very tasty, generous serving plus the spices are very well-balanced.
And the people? Oh they are the friendliest and warmest folks. Their smiles bring forth such a welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back...

And we came 45 min before closing. The owner is kind and calm with a humble spirit. He told us how he almost climbed to the top of mt Everest in his home of Nepal. Highly rec. this place.
