When I tell you I am the easiest customer ever. I have on again off again had a pro membership since 2011. I came in to but a ps5 today and ncaa. I was sold a game even though they gave me a ps5 that was digital only. I called at 745 to let them know they sold me the wrong one and Garrett apologized and said I could come back to swap it out. I come back to swap it out about 30 mins later and Garrett was gone and the person working refused to do it because he didn’t mess it up. He said he told Garrett that and he still left. If it’s true that he told him that all he had to do was call and say come back tomorrow. The guy at the register then tries to send me to gunbarrel. As I am getting ready to leave a customer tells me gunbarrel is closed. I then ask to speak to a manager and of course he is sick. So I am sitting here with 500 dollars worth of GameStop stuff I can’t use. It was for my kids birthday. When I say I am pissed it’s an understatement! If he doesn’t know how to change it out then there should be a manager they can call to work...
Read moreWent to the midnight release for the Nintendo Switch 2, I pre-ordered the Mario Kart World bundle, got home and opened it before realizing they didn't give me what I pre-ordered and on my receipt it stated a few lines down the bundle I wanted. Called them and they said come in tomorrow and they'll fix it, and I asked how when they stated they most likely will just hand the game over. So I go in and they call the manager or district manager who said they would just buy the game, however upon double checking my receipt the cashier CANCELED the bundle preorder and gave me the regular console! Long story short the district manager stated that since the console was opened it couldn't be returned which I know is a lie, I could've got my money back and then got the bundle one I wanted. However...I had to pay the retail price for the game itself. I dont mind having physical games but this shouldve been handled alot...
Read moreI would like to make it clear that this location has decent employees. ALL except for 1. Just the day before I spent $50 at this store. The 2 employees talked with me and even offered a few store options that would save me money. TODAY - HOWEVER, Tyrone (I am sure that name is close enough) happened to be there and before I even entered the store, he had the typical, WHY ARE YOU HERE, attitude. I get inside and ask about an item LISTED ONLINE AS IN STORE, And he begins talking flippid with me. "Man! See, you gotta think, man!" As if implying that I was either dumb, or stupid.... or both. I explained to this GENIUS, that I wouldn't have been standing there if I had not thought of everything he was saying, already. This man did EVERYTHING he could to avoid making a sell and shuffle me out of the door. Keep up the good work GAMESTOP! Employees like THIS, will surely keep you...
