We reserved the upper deck about a month ago for my sons 2nd birthday party. I called two days prior to the party to confirm. Our name was not put down anywhere, the lady I spoke with put it down and everything was a good to go. We went today and when we got there, they said they gave the upper deck to a larger party.(after we had already reserved it) The manager said she tried to call me to confirm the reservation. (She did, 4 hours before, but I work 3rd shift and was sleeping) The manager was rude and ended up sitting our party of 25 right next to the bathroom . The food was almost impossible to eat due to the smell. They brought us some free onion rings as if to say sorry. That is just bad business. We wanted the upper deck so the kids could run around and not disturb anyone. We had people sitting all around us and if someone needed the bathroom, we were in their way. It was a horrible experience. But hey, the free onion rings made up for it! NOT! The place is not good for parties. Response to the reply: The manager would not take ownership of her mistake, she blamed her staff first then blamed her general manager. My party thanked the staff for the food because we are southern and that is how we are. I didnt tell my entire party what had happened because we needed focus on my sons birthday party. The free stuff was an admission of guilt. The manager called me 4 hours before the party. Who does that? I am most upset that the manager put blame on everyone else even though, she bumped us because more. Money was to be made with the larger party. We did have people sitting around us. You want pictures? We took plenty for the party. The staff did an amazing job, the manager and the manager alone sucks at her job. Read moreThis review was for Hixson, but the “regional manager” got on the phone, so I feel like this applies here as well. We have been coming here for over a decade and it has gone down hill during the pandemic. It is the worst run restaurant in Chattanooga at this point. The combo plate went from $12.99 to $18.9 9 with no change in portions, the ribs have been consistently over cooked to the point of being inedible, and the management and owners are completely unwilling to do anything about problems.
Today we called to let them know that our 2 ribs from our to go order were overcooked and not edible. We were going to come back, order more food, and give them the chance to replace them. The employees and “regional manager” we spoke to were totally dismissive and uninterested in taking care of the problem. We attempted to call the day of the issue, but they did not answer the phone (we called within minutes of closing). While talking to the “regional manager” she attempted to ask where I worked as if that had anything to do with their problem.
It is pretty easy to understand why there is no longer anyone dining there and why they cannot seem to hire new staff if this is how they handle customer service. When I mentioned leaving a poor review, the same manager stated she would “call me out” or have it taken down. Just sad how bad this...
Read moreJust picked up a $700 order from there. As we walked in I noticed a pan of food sitting on the floor. Yes as on the carpet of the floor. They pulled out of the warmer. There is absolutely no excuse for people’s food to be on the floor. Period!
After that they pulled another pan out. And walked over to a cart with it. There were three of four carts in that spot. After they moved all the pans over to the cart. They finally picked up the last one. The one that was on the floor. And walked it over to said cart.
Turns out it’s the order that was placed for the wedding I’m going to. Before you can make some bull crap excuse. The cart could have been pulled over to the warmer. And the pan could have gone directly on it.
I will make sure to tell people at this wedding how food safety is done at this establishment. And let them decide for themselves if they will spend money here in the future. I know for absolutely sure. That I will definitely not be coming back here.
