They dont even deserve negative stars; 5 bombs actually, I believe suits this ignorant establishment! 💣💥💣💥💣💥💣💥💣💥 💯🤬💀☠️😡❤️🩹#backwoods#prejudice#getwoke#dontshop Background to Review: My husband, adopted dad,and I stopped by Hobby Lobby on the way back home from the grocery store to see if they carried the specific paint brushes I like, since the kids ruined mine and Pops wanted to get me new ones for the project I was wanting to start. The very second we walked in the prejudice profiling began. We were talking and accidentally walked in the exit doors and laughed at the mishap. Cutting my laughing short, I noticed the young white girl and guy looking at us with discuss on their faces as the guy grabs the intercom phone holding it near his cheek. I always try to think good of everyone so I shrugged it off and started down the main entry isle with my family. No sooner than we get past the first section of shelves, my husband hears the young guy say over the intercom "code 12 by fabric" and says to me "that's where we are by. Is that about us? We just walked in." I thinking the best of people respond" Of course not honey, I seen the guy going to call that code in when we first walked in. Gotta be something else for sure, don't worry." By the time I completed my response, before any of us even touched a single item, we hear the young girl over the intercom say "Code 28, security on the floor. Can we get eyes on the cameras and still footage asap. I need security in crafts and on the floor immediately." Me and my husband look at each other shocked and I say to him "Okay, that sounds suspicious but we haven't done anything so just let me see if I can find these and we can leave quickly. I really doubt that has anything to do with us and is just a coincidence." So, the 3 of us split up down the isles and I ask one of the employees, who were manning their security post, where I may find them and she points me to the last couple isles in the back in crafts. My husband follows me over there and we notice that the employees are most literally following us through the store and obviously Pops did also because when we ran back into him over in crafts he was ranting like hell. My husband calms him down letting him know not to make a scene so that we don't appear guilty or with something to be worried for. I then finally found my favorite brushes, a bit further down than directed, but Pops disappeared quick as all get out for a crippled old frail guy. My husband suggested we go on and get Pops and get on to Walmart where we won't have employees pacing back and forth on either end of the isle we are on harassing us unjustly and probably save money by getting them cheaper down the road. Being stubborn though I grab a pack and say "Well, I am at least going to show him which ones to be looking for down there." This because I couldn't find them online to show him what I was talking about earlier and he was honestly walking around aimlessly with no clue what he was looking for. Try stopping that stubborn old redneck from insisting he knows just where and what they are with no help warranted, bet you couldn't lol. Any how, we continue to call out to him while looking up and down isles and heading towards the front and even double back real quick before deciding that this slippery coot must have had enough of them circling like vultures, unwarranted by our actions in the store, and probably went to the car. As we head to the exit I choose to dramatically hold the pack over my head and place them down on the table nearest me, as to insure the intolerant associates know I have nothing of theirs on my person, and proceed to exit...... ....... Read moreIf I could give Hobby Lobby a (-5) I would. Tonight after work, I went to the Hobby Lobby in Hixson (store #278). I don’t really like to go to Hobby Lobby because I already take issue with their past controversies, however I went there thinking they may have an item that I’ve been unable to locate anywhere else. I found what I was looking for and headed to the register. On my way to the check out counter I passed two young boys that had just entered the store. They looked to be in their early 20’s, dressed normally for their age, clean, well groomed, well behaved, not doing anything out of the ordinary or drawing attention to themselves what so ever. They apparently had an afterthought shorty after entering the store and decided they would need a cart, so one of the boys doubled back toward the entrance to get the cart. As I passed him in the narrow part of the isle he said “Excuse me, I’m sorry” and smiled kindly at me. I said “No problem sweetie, you’re fine” and smiled back. As I walked up to the register, I noticed the cashier was calling over another employee, a woman. The woman walks over as I’m placing my items on the counter and the cashier says to her, in a normal speaking volume, “Two very suspicious Asian guys just came in the store. I don’t trust them. Can you go follow them. They went that way.” as she points in their direction.” I couldn’t believe my ears! Did she really just say that?! I had just seen the very “delinquents” she was referring to and they displayed absolutely no behavior that would indicate they were up to no good; and to make matters worse she said it right in front of me, a customer, a stranger she doesn’t know from Adam. Now, normally I don’t have trouble speaking up or speaking out when it comes to matters I feel strongly about, but I was so taken back by what had just happened that I didn’t fully process it all until I had already left the store and driven half way home. Now that I’m home and I’ve had time to reflect on everything, I find myself outraged. There was absolutely nothing unusual about those boys and they certainly had done nothing wrong. They simply made the mistake of walking into Hobby Lobby aka Bigot Central, and had no idea they were being accused, convicted, and stalked. Looks like the backwards mentality of the Green family trickles down to it's employees. I will never step foot in that store again. The cashier name on my receipt says Nita D. I’ll be contacting the...
Read moreFor a store that I love to shop & spend my hard earned dollars in.....this location is a disappointment service wise. Couldn't tell you how many times Iv left feeling some type of way over how I was treated. God forbid DO NOT lose your receipt & expect a friendly experience whatsoever. You can bet everything that you will have yourself a lil black shadow hovering over you for the remainder your there. I understand that they, like all other retail stores have loss prevention to curb & thieves to deter but to immediately make a judgment like that bc a customer has a return (WITH RECIEPT EVEN) ...isn't acceptable. I'm sure not all of their employees are as unethically judgmental & wrongly suspicious of anyone who doesn't fit into their ideas of what the right clothing or personality is for a customer spending money but it seems to be on a higher level than most other places in this area, just an overall superiority vibe but my advise....hold onto your receipts like their made of gold & hope you have it if something doesn't work out for you. If not....you'll see what I mean...
