I am never the one to write bad reviews but I am truly disappointed with my experience at Good Vibe Medical. My first visit was a consultation where a Morpheus 8 treatment was recommended for lines above my cheeks and acne scarring. I was told a single treatment would be enough to make a big difference. I booked and went in for my treatment and I should have left before they even started the procedure. I was supposed to be getting Nitrous oxide to alleviate some of the discomfort from the treatment. So they roll in the tank with the gas and it didn’t seem like they knew how to operate it. After a few failed attempts at making it work, the tank started making a super loud noise and gas was escaping from the tank. That honestly frightened me because it was so loud I thought the tank was about to explode right in front of my face. It was not until at least 2 minutes of this when the PA and the assistant finally left the room with the leaking gas tank. After a few minutes they come back into my room and told me I won’t be able to use the gas because they can’t make it work. In their defense, they did ask whether I wanted to continue without or reschedule for another day.

I decided to go ahead and do the procedure without the gas. The procedure itself was somewhat painful but nothing to complain about as I also had numbing cream put on. It’s the effects of this procedure that I am dissatisfied with. Not only did the procedure do absolutely nothing for my lines above the cheeks it left me with MORE scarring than I had when I initially came in. A few weeks later I came in for a follow up consultation and all I received was another recommendation for an Morpheus 8 treatment or another treatment type like laser…Seriously you are recommending another round of the same treatment that caused me more scarring? I will not trust this place with another procedure and I would warn anyone to reconsider if you’re thinking about getting the Morpheus 8 procedure at this office. I met an amazing esthetician, Rachel, a couple years ago at her former employer where she did lash extensions. I went to her for a lash lift as I had a very bad experience with extensions and swore them off. Well, Rachel made me feel so comfortable and at ease, that at the next or third appointment, I got extensions. A service with your eyes taped shut, and I had so much trust in her already. Rachel is warm, friendly, honest, listens to you.

When Rachel moved on, I followed. Her services expanded as her extensive knowledge and experience did. She continually takes advantage of opportunities presented to her to further her education and hone her craft. She started working at Good Vibe medical and although an hour away, there was no hesitation that I would be continuing to see Rachel for facials and anything else she offered. She recommended a series of three Procell microchanelling sessions. I previously had microneedling, but had never even heard of microchanneling. It’s like microneedling, but more gentle, and uses a proprietary combination of growth factors that the esthetician rubs into your skin through the open channels. I was numbed prior and didn’t feel a thing.

It takes a a few weeks for results to fully show, but it helped with acne scars and overall texture/brightness. I was so happy with my results from that, I wanted more services. She had Carolina do a complimentary consultation while I was there and I was shocked at how much Carolina could visualize exactly what my skin needed without being an injector, nurse, or esthetician herself. She is a wealth of knowledge! She is also very kind and truthful. I did end up going back for more services and will do another review for that phenomenal experience in a separate review.
