Hobby Lobby — Local services in Chester

If i could give it 0 i would. Long story short I bought stuff for my wedding on Thursday and today Tuesday I came back to return some stuff I did not use. I lost the receipt and I had paid cash on Thursday. No one told me that if I didn’t use a card they would not be able to refund my money. They told me since I don’t have the original receipt that they would give me a credit on a hobby lobby card. I needed my money back. I didn’t need to buy anything else from there. They said that when it’s a return they give you the lowest price in the past 60 days regardless if you got that price or not, I paid for some items original price and they were giving me 50% off on each item that I had which value wise it went down on what I was going to get in return I asked if they can look up my receipt since I know exactly the date and time and register where I purchased my items they said no so next time just don’t go here go somewhere else because the return policy is crazy. Arrived at the hobby lobby store in Chester Virginia at approximately 14:00 hours today to return two signs for 4th of July that I had already replaced and to advise the manager that I had made a purchase of two Buffalo Head nickel hat pins, for a total of $3.98 plus tax that they were not placed in my bag when I left the register. A manager came over and was immediately treating me like a thief over $4 of merchandise that I claimed that I didn't receive ! She said that they had to review the video tapes of the transaction to see if I have received the merchandise or not so in this case I would advise all customers to keep a handful of receipts the same as I did ,but at the same time consider all purchases as final! I left the merchandise reeipt along with the two signs for refund because I think Chester hobby lobby isn't in as good a financial status as I am, if they're fighting over $4 that they're wasting more time and money looking at tapes! So Chester hobby lobby I am saying goodbye to your store and I wish you good luck...

The Asian lady that works up front is rude every time I I’ve been there whether if it’s me another customer or an associate! Plus bathrooms always got poop stuck in toilet bowl and or stopped up toilets in women’s bathroom! They sell plenty of food and snacks and no drinks. I’m going to Hull St for now on!! Or Micheals! At least they have clean bathrooms! Ridiculous! Store manager is childish and petty! Don’t let your minors/children work there. They won’t be able to go to prom or any school event! They was 3 minors this spring who couldn’t go to their hair appointments bc they had to work before prom! You can’t have time off if reasons are not important enough. Really only court and dr’s appointment are only allowed! Screw funerals, functions or mental time off! Store manager will get knocked off that high horse! Bc she takes authority to far! Ask any of her associates...
