I've never been to the Hull St. location but I've had food from there. In my opinion, I wasn't too impressed with either store -- I've eaten far better from Qdoba. Either way, their ingredients aren't too bad, but I never eat the meat; I always order the vegetarian. They lost a star from the sheer fact this place is so talked about by people and I have yet to be blown away. Every time my family goes to get their orders, the line is ridiculous. I've felt a better connection with getting a sub made at Subway than getting my bowl prepared at this place. I understand its busy and stressful, but Jesus Christ can I get some thought and courtesy from the staff? Stop rushing me in my order and be a little more forgiving. Would it hurt for these folks to offer suggestions or think past 'Go' as well? If you see me request no meat, then logically you should offer all your vegetarian ingredients. The girl preparing my order didn't offer anything but salsa and then tried to quickly shove a lid on my bowl when there is nothing in there but rice and beans. What about the corn? The lettuce? The cheese? The diced peppers? I was lucky to get a word in before she shoved me towards the register. The reason they lost another star is, as some folks have mentioned elsewhere, the portions are horrible. I left with my bowl literally half full. I've noticed people who have dealt with this place before have to loudly request more of everything to get proper amounts on their orders. In my opinion, I shouldn't have to fight with the staff to get something worth my money. Despite these shortcomings, I think this place is okay. Perhaps when the hype dies down over there being a new store in Chester, the lines will diminish a little. Then as the stress levels go down, the staff might be more friendly and inviting. I like the concept of their ingredients being antibiotic and/or hormone free, and the farm-grown ingredients being picked while in season and/or being from local areas. If I see any improvement in this place over the course of a few months, I'll give them a better rating.Until then, they have earned 3 out of 5 stars, which translates to a 'Very Good' rating but not quite the 'Excellent' so many seem...
Read moreSo, I went to this location and the line was all the way to the back of the building. I made the descision to be patient and wait in line, because whenever I go here, they always seem busy. After waiting almost 30 minutes, I get up to the order station, and they are scrambling to keep up, they have to work on their online orders, and refil at least 4 main ingredients before they actually ask what I want. Clearly overwhelmed, this was okay too. But then I started to notice that no one was really working together. There was one employee that was ONLY wiping the counter, and another was just sorta standing around cleaning her nails- meanwhile the line was still to the back of the building. The first prep person was scrambling and shouting for rice, but no one seemed to be able to assist, so they had to go and retrieve it themselves. After they finally started my burrito order, they pushed it down the line to the second half while i had to wait for someone to finish it, meanwhile the initial prep person just kept prepping and the line of food to be made kept building up, while my burrito sat there unfinished, exposed, and getting cold. Meanwhile, the counter cleaning person was still just wiping the counter, the other person was standing by the sink just kinda zoned out, and the others were completely scattered. No one seemed to want to prioritize getting the line down. When they finally came to finish my burrito, they told me that the Guac they had was reserved for online orders only (!!?). I just want to leave with my dinner at this point-so fine. They wrap it up, mark it steak, and there it sits on the counter for at least 10 minutes. So, I ended up spending nearly an hour for this unexceptional burrito, which of course, was cold. Will not be returning to this location, as something is...
Read moreWorst experience. Ordered ahead to avoid the line because this Chipotle is always busy and seems to move slower than others I have visited. I placed my order at 4:14pm to have my order ready at 8:00pm. I arrived to the store at 8:10pm and proceeded to the counter where i was advised that there was no order that matched my name. Calmly, I stated that there must be a mistake because I can see that I ordered on my mobile app after signing in. The cashier took a quick glance and said no order matches that name and proceeded to work. I retrieved my order confirmation from my email to show that not only was there an order but that it was for this location and showed it to the cashier who responded are you sure it is this location and walked off yet again. I waited patiently until she finished in the back of the store and asked her to look at the email. She looked, walked to the register, and said oh it looks like it just came in. Now mind you I have already been in the store for my quick pick up for 20ish minutes before she "finds" my order. It is about another 10 minutes before the order is prepared and I walked out of the store reeking of meat and onions. I understand that mistakes are made, that's fine, but the disrespect of being questioned like I didnt remember where I placed my order coupled with the lack of prompt resolution really gets to me. I searched for and found the solution by myself with no assistance from the staff. I have sent an email to corporate but I'm sure all I will get is an auto response that thanks me for my email. Needless to say, I will not be frequenting this place any more. One star for customer service, speed of service, ease of experience, and unwillingness to...
