Shoe & Sneaker Barn — Local services in Chester

I have been a patron of the Shoe and Sneaker Barn for 12 years and have always been given excellent service. My children and I have feet that need very supportive shoes. Andrew usually helps us by only showing us shoes that will work for our feet. He and his Father are very knowledgeable about the design elements of the shoes, the companies that make them and new designs that are going to be released. I sometimes wish they had a larger selection, but they only carry quality shoes. One time my son's sneaker tread started to come apart a few weeks after we bought them. Normally a good place to shop. However service seems to be deteriorating. Staff completely ignored me (no they weren't busy). I would suspect that on a Saturday, while shoppers are out, staff would be engaging the customer who came in the store to facilitate a sale, instead I overheard stories being told in the back and when one of the staff looked at me from the backroom, they refocused their attention on continuing their banter, ignoring the customer ready willing and able to buy. Went in this morning to look for rain boots, i had never been in this store before. When i walked in a girl was talking on her phone i was unsure if it was another customer or employee but she excused herself to talk privately outside. Two men were clearly talking in the back room, one in eyesight of me but never asking if i need help. I walked around waiting for assistance for about 10 minutes...
