Torrid — Local services in Chesterfield

Torrid is one of my must stops for latest fashions. I love their selection and their customer service is on point! The gals that work in the Chesterfield Valley location are super sweet and helpful every time I'm in there! Now, I want to tell you about my phone order I made this morning when I called in on their main phone number found on their website. OH MY GOSH!! This was the best customer service experience I've ever had!! I wanted to order some things online yesterday (Sunday). It was the is day of a big sale they were having. And I also needed these items expedited to 2-day shipping. For some reason the site wouldn't let me select expedite shipping; so I called into customer service this morning. (Monday) The sale was over; but Michael still took off the discount AND gave me free 2 day shipping. He was so pleasant to talk to and had me laughing a few times. What a wonderful way to start off my week! Now I'm going to have these pieces before I go on vacation this weekend. And he helped me save money!! I highly recommend becoming a customer of torrid. I've been off and on about this store for several years. Sometimes I get really nice employees and sometimes I get ones that are super dismissive because I'm not the right kind of plus sized. One employee got a little attitudey last week over the phone when I had a couple of simple questions. The call ended with me being just as confused as I was when the call started because she never really answered my questions. It's not really surprising considering I'm met with the same issue when I call the 866 number. No one's ever really able to answer anything clearly. It seems as though Torrid as a whole is just interested in selling clothes and doesn't really care about their client base. It feels like a slap in the face sometimes because it's pretty much the only plus size store and most Torrid customers have literally spent thousands with...

The clothes are on the more expensive side, but it's the only place I can jeans that actually fit well. (Real jeans, not just jeggings, although their jeggings are AMAZING). If you shop their sales and sign up for their rewards, your wallet and closet will thank you! I love the staff at the Chesterfield location-all the girls there are super nice, friendly and helpful!
