This was is a great place for those with a big appetite but small pockets. It was $29 for 2 of us and we chowed down. The waiter was so nice and respectful, and it seemed like the workers actually liked their job. Just be warned, they charge extra for those lemonade/drink refills!
Food wise there is a variety of quality. The selection is about 3 tables worth (slightly small) and overall it’s decent. Be warned that their dessert is limited and really only has pudding, cream puffs, and jello. Everything was what I’d expect from a cheap Chinese restaurant with the exception of the items listed below.
The bbq chicken, cream puffs(favorite), spring roll, sushi, and crab were above average and actually really good. Super tender meat and these items saved the place from a 3 star.
Items that were subpar are the following: Steak (super tender but had this weird aftertaste), lo mein (spaghetti like noodles that were somehow stale but mushy too??) and the shrimp. Oh god the shrimp by the chicken was so bad. Mushy, old, and the shell was like still on it or something because it was the texture of a peanut shell!
Everything else was average food and did what it had to do in my belly. I’ll probably come back to this place if I’m running low on pesos and want a lot of grub!!! 3.00/5.00 I have a 4 star because service and atmosphere is a 5 and 4. Do the math and it...
Read moreI would first like to make it known that I'm not a big fan of Chinese food or any Asian food in general. It's no disrespect it's just not food I'm keen on. So when I do go to these types of restaurants it's usually at the request of friends or loved ones. When I previously went to a Chinese restaurant, it's usually hard to find something to eat because I'm just a picky guy. With all that said, I recently ate at China Buffet for the very first time. So I kind of went into it blind not knowing what kind of food there would be for such a selective eater like me. I was definitely surprised with there being a decent number of non-chinese food options for me. I was able to have a pretty good lunch after all. As for the service, it was adequate and suitable for how customer service should be at a buffet type of restaurant. The employees would promptly change out the empty food with fresh replacements. Also, the servers were not hovering, but they were close by in case they were needed for any assistance. Another thing I liked was the relaxing atmosphere. It was just a really chill vibe inside the restaurant. Despite Chinese food not being a favorite food of mine, I did have a pleasant time dining here. If I'm invited to eat here, I definitely...
Read moreMe and my family (4) went here for quick bite after a long day, when we entered the doors we got seated to our table, everything was normal. Untill, we got up to go get our food, while my niece was getting her food I noticed that the manager was pretty obviously checking out her body inappropriately. Me noticing this I went up to the man and told him to stop, and we went back to our table. This made everyone at the table feel very uncomfortable for the rest of the time we were there. then after we ate our first round of food, most of us went to go grab secconds, most of us being 3 out of the 4. My son which who was the only one sitting at the table, noticed that the guy only came by to fill up one drink out of the 4 empty ones, which happened to me my neices. During all of this, the guy started circling our table, and standing behind my neice, which made us decide to finnaly leave due to our uncomfortable feeling. While going up to pay for our visit, the guy who we comfroted seemed nervous while we came up to pay. Overall, we had a very uncomfortable time here and we were set back by...
