If I could given zero stars I would. The service was absolutely terrible. Our waitress was rude to us while taking our orders because we were asking questions about the menu an example was she said we could have sides and then one of my friends asked for the asparagus. She said “no” very rude and abrasively in a bitchy tone. My friend said well it said “ I’m sorry I am confused it is a listed on the sides”. The waitress said “if you read the fine print you will see it is an additional cost, and the classic sides are what come with your entrees. My friend then asked if she could pay the extra for her side and the waitress said “yes”. This was rude to me because I feel she could have explained the menu since we all obviously didn’t understand so why make us feel stupid instead of acting upset that we didn’t have the menu memorized.
Since we were a large table I asked if we could have extra biscuits so she wouldn’t have to keep running back to the kitchen for more since we were all famished I knew we would eat through them quickly while waiting for the food to cook. She said “I will bring you each one and more when I can”. Granted maybe they were low on biscuits but it was her tone that made it seem like she wasn’t going to bring us more.
We were the only table with small children and the restaurant was not busy. It took us 2 hours and 37 minutes to get in and out of the restaurant. Our food all came out at different times because our waitress said she dropped part of our order on the way out to us. We knew it was probably an accident so we just said okay but half of our table was done almost a half hour before the other and I had to take the kids to the car while the rest of our party ate since we got there before 7pm and we just left less than 10 minutes ago. We were not comped anything or offered anything, we also didn’t get everything we ordered but yet it was in the bill. We had to ask for those items to be removed since we never received them. Our whole bill for four entree’s and two kids meals was $130 and some change. We were never given napkins or silverware after our food was served, we had to ask for it as well as condiments for our food. Our waitress never asked if we needed anything and when we asked for specific teams like A1 for the steak she was annoyed.
Overall this was the worst experience we have all every had in a restaurant. We went to the bathroom and asked the others women in the bathroom if they enjoyed their experience and they said they had an very nice waitress but even though she was nice they also didn’t have the best experience with the food and they had been there an hour and fourth five minutes and their baked potatoes were hard and so was their broccoli. That was also the case for us. There also wasn’t any toilet paper in the bathroom.
I know this may not seem like a kind review however I have never left a review for a restaurant before. I work and have worked in customer service for over twenty years and even when I have a bad day or something is wrong within the work place I know to fake it till you make it and never take your stress out on the customer. It was not the case tonight and had we been treated with the dignity and respect we deserved we would have been more understanding to whatever circumstances may have been going on behind the scenes.
It was also so cold that we all had to go to the car and grab our sweaters for our...
Read moreIf this place could be rated zero starts I would rate it as such. Typically, I love red lobster. This was my favorite restaurant and I never had any previous issues during any of my experiences up until recently. My boyfriend and I went in to have dinner with our daughter, and ordered a lot of food. It was expensive being 80 dollars for two people and an infant. The money is not where the issue came in, but later on. About 6 or 7 hours later I became violently ill. I have not been able to keep any food or water down for a day and I knew it was food poisoning. I called the manager to let him know that I had food poisoning and explained my symptoms to him. He told me it was probably allergies! I’ve eaten shellfish my whole life and never had an allergic reaction, plus, this was no allergic reaction as my symptoms were extreme nausea and motion sickness, and feeling cold. The manager said that he would research my symptoms and that he would call me back later, and hung up, without apologizing once. I was baffled, and waited 7 more hours for him to call me back and he never did. I called again and asked him if he had found anything, and he acted as if I was lying about dining there. I explained to him my entire order and what my server looked like and even what the total was and what we tipped. He left me on hold for an outrageous amount of time and then answered and told me to feel better and to only call back if I had to go to the emergency room, and if so that he would report it their insurance. And then asked me if there was any other information he could find me by. I was confused and asked him if he didn’t find my ticket and then he admitted to me that he did! And that was how he ended the conversation. Needless to say, I am stuck paying 80 dollars for a dinner that has made my whole next day and more absolutely awful from food poisoning, and I may even have to go to the emergency room. No apologies from the staff were issued or offers of a refund or anything to make amends. I will never come back and I hope that nobody else does, as I do not want them to experience an illness like...
Read moreI feel a bit of ranting is needed. I don't seem to understand how hard it is to have good customer service in a restaurant these days. For mother's day we went out to Red lobster, I made a reservation for 4pm. They got us settled right away at our table. Then we sat.. and sat... till over ten minutes the very kind busier stops and gets our drink order (May I say at this time there where not busy) finally we meet who I think our server was for the night. Didn't apologize for not being there to greet is right away. When the drinks are brought to the table a glass holding ice tea explodes ( common sense was not used very hot glass with cold liquid added breaks cups) the ice tea goes all over my nice white dress and my phone... the glass it's self shatters the back of my phone. Both are destroyed. Finally a "manger" comes over to the table. Let me make this clear he not once apologized for what had happened to me. He approaches the table and says "hey I'm here." Ok... I explain what's happens. "I'll get fourms" walks away... to shorten this story we where not waited on buy our "server" all night my steak was over cooked. He barely took down my info for my phone and when I asked when I'd get the money for my items his only answer was idk never done this before. When we got the check after all this he tried to only take of mu steak....heated as I am about this whole experience I do want to take time to shoot out to the busser who was the only one to apologize, who was the only one to take care of us and check up on us. They have you working the wrong spot you should be the manger and you deserved way more then the 20 we left you. As for Red lobster they are gonna hate me the next few weeks. If you read all...
