Dear Brandy Melville Customer Service,

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at your Chicago store. During my visit with my daughter, we encountered several issues that left us very upset.

Firstly, there was a long line just to enter the store, which we patiently waited through. My daughter selected six outfits to try on, and we then had to wait in another long line for the fitting rooms. While she was trying on the clothes, I waited right outside. At no point were we informed of any time limits for the fitting rooms.

After a few minutes, an employee approached me and rudely stated that we needed to make our decision faster, citing a 10-minute policy for the fitting rooms. This was announced loudly enough for everyone in line to hear, causing us significant embarrassment. As the only Asian customers in a predominantly white store, this experience was particularly distressing.

I have never felt this way while shopping anywhere else, and I believe this situation could have been handled with more professionalism and courtesy. I would appreciate it if you could address this matter with the store staff to prevent such incidents...

Went into the store to purchase sweatpants and browse. I was looking for about 10 minutes and approached an employee to ask for help. She said “I don’t know” and told me I can look on the tables and pointed to a general area, which was strange but whatever. There was no effort made to answer my question or help me find any items but I looked past it anyways.

Then, I wanted to try on the bottoms I found because I’m aware of their strict return policy. The same person told me if I wanted to try anything on, I have to leave my purse outside the room. It would have been unsupervised and I’m sure if something was stolen they would claim they are not liable! Also, 2/3 fitting rooms were occupied had no purse outside on the hook. i’ve been there many times before and tried on clothing and I was never asked to leave my purse outside and it was the same bag!

I’ve been shopping at brandy since 2015/2016 and won’t again! It’s too bad their customer service is so bad. I was excited to go shopping and buy myself new clothes and left empty handed. and as someone who works in retail it was really just...
