if you are a person of color, please do not shop at glossier. My friends and I are all hispanic, matter a fact the only hispanic/ POC people in the store, and we came to the glossier store for the first time since it opened. We entered the store, no one greeted us upon entering the store, even though everyone else, and by everyone else all the white people entering the store, were all greeted immediately and helped immediately. My friends and I were browsing around because we had products we wanted to purchase in mind already. 10 minutes go by, no one comes by to check on us. 20 minutes go by, all the other customers that got there after us were already being helped and had even been checked on TWICE. Another 10 minutes go by, and yet no one comes to check on us. It was not a busy day, multiple employees were sitting around talking to each other and we would try to catch their attention, but we would be ignored. We were in the store for 30 minutes and not a single time did we get a “hello is there anything we can help you find, would you guys like to place an order?” nothing. It is absolutely ridiculous that not a single person bothered to check up on us, and I am assuming that it was because we were the only POC customers in the store. Upon leaving the store was when we were told goodbye which was when I told them how terrible their customer service is against poc. So please, if you are a person of color or someone that at least supports pocs, please do not shop at this...
Read moreStore was about a 20 minute walk from my hotel but was in a very appealing area for shopping. The shop itself was very clean looking and put together, and service was great. I had an attentive employee ask if I needed help finding anything/explain some of the products which was much appreciated. Checkout process was very easy, and my purchase was delivered in an adorable bag with my name on it about 5 minutes after I bought it. Store itself is put together and very roomy. Great product...
Read moreI wanted to get help with concealers but no one came to help me and my mom. when my mom asked for help the black and white workers looked at each other as if they didn’t want to assist us. Hate to call it racism when one of the workers were Black but we were the only Black customers and no one bothered to even greet us. Pretty expected on Rush street. But don’t miss out on sales because you’re of...
