DRD makes me so happy, plain and simple. I was first introduced to DRD over a decade ago – I saw the Lauren Joy necklace in a magazine, and knew immediately that it was something I could wear every day to elevate my style and feel confidently like myself. I love that the pieces are dainty and delicate, but at the same time beautiful with a sparkle that still makes a statement. Before then, I hadn't been exposed to any jewelry that so truly matched my personal style! I was in my mid twenties at that time and saved up and was so proud to buy and wear that necklace. I still wear my Lauren Joy a decade later.

Now I have many other DRD pieces to mix and match it with, and I couldn't be happier with my growing collection (and to grow and evolve with DRD myself). Over the years, I've purchased several bracelets (Julianne Himiko Star, Sylvie Rose Bar, Lulu Jack Bezel), a few pairs of earrings (matching Lauren Joys, Sylvie Rose Bars) and a Sylvie Rose Bar necklace. The best part for me is that I have been so proud to save up and "splurge" on myself – knowing that there really is no down side: the pieces are simply beautiful, I wear them every day – dress them up or down, and they are so high quality and timeless that I know I'll enjoy them for years to come.

Most recently, I purchased the Poppy Rae diamond ring and worked with Kat to customize the Lulu Jack Vertical Diamond Bar necklace with a Ruby, which is my son's birthstone. I couldn't be happier to wear such a sentimental piece, made by a brand I feel such a personal connection with. And the fact that Kat was so personable, attentive, knowledgeable and easy to work with was the icing on the cake.

DRD is the place to go for all of your jewelry needs. Not only is Dana herself a kind, hysterical, and genuine human, her staff is just the same. My love for DRD started on Instagram - never have I ever seen a business run their insta like they are your best friend. I truly want to know what is going on in the DRD world every day because they make you feel like family. This then lead to me obsessing over every piece of jewelry they make. And eventually led to me making an appointment in studio to find the perfect engagement ring.

About the visit: I. LEARNED. SO. MUCH. who knew there was so much knowledge to gain about diamonds, settings, sizing, shapes, clarity, color, the whole kit and kaboodle! Kat was a gem (pun intended!). She was present, attentive, knowledgable beyond belief, and provided realistic recommendations based on what I was looking within our budget. She was patient with me, my best friend and niece who all attended. She even taught my 10 year old niece how to identify inclusions in a diamond under magnification! The visit was nothing short of a memorable experience that I get to cherish forever.

A note for fiancé's: The biggest win here is Kat will literally send you a spreadsheet that allows you to put in budget and your fiancé's wish list the next it spits out the perfect ring.

Several months ago I had this idea where I wanted a bracelet to add to my wrist stack to represent my cavalier king charles puppies (Rosie and Ruby). I had seen the DRD initial cuff and I thought replacing one of the letters with a paw print would be perfect. Feb 6th was my first email to Julia asking her about a cuff with an initial and paw. A pandemic and 6 months later and I have the cutest cuff representing my girls. It is exactly what I envisioned and exactly the rendering that I received from DRD to approve.

Julia was so wonderful to work with and so patient answering all my questions and working with the jewelers because I have a small narrow wrist and I had concerns about the standard small size being too roomy and easily coming off. She spoke to your jewelers and I received 2 different shipments to get the sizing perfect for me.

I can't say enough about this great company. One of my last trips into NYC, before quarantine when life was "normal", included a quick duck into the NYC showroom and the 3 women working there could not have been friendlier and more inviting. I realized that day I needed a diamond tennis necklace, who knew?! And I was only there to size cuff bracelets!
