InterPark Self Park — Local services in Chicago

I visited Chicago for the first time today, and I only parked in 1 other garage while I was there, so I don't know if a lot of garages in Chicago are built the same way, but I have to say this parking garage is the worst parking garage I have ever parked in and I just have to share my experience. LMAO.

The parking spaces are at a strange angle so it is difficult to park straight. I saw SEVERAL open spaces that were impossible to park in because the cars beside them had--understandably--gone over the line before I finally found a space with no cars on one side. I couldn't even park straight in it though.

The entire space is very small. When pulling out of my weird parking space I had to slowly inch forward and backward 5 or 6 times, making slight adjustments in order to not hit the cars that had parked beside me and in the isle across from me. When exiting the garage i had to be very careful not to hit any of the poles or barriers that were located at every turn. Maybe these are there intentionally to slow you down, but I felt fortunate that I didn't hit any of them, the space was so tight.

I might just be a bad driver, but I had two passengers with me and they agreed that it was obviously a space designed to maximize the number of spaces with no regard for how difficult it would be to park there without "getting dinged up." I made it out without any scratches, but it was a bit of a stressful experience. Park at your own risk. You've....

The lady working the night shift around 9:20pm on Tuesday March 26th was the RUDEST and UNHAPPIEST person i have ever talked to. My boyfriend and i were having trouble with our parking pass and called and she originally just hung up on us and we called again and she didn’t answer till a car was behind us then when she did answer she SCREAMED at us saying there was another car behind us and just hung up. I recommend this parking garage find some better people instead of people who just scream at the people PAYING...

Do not pay your ticket in the lobby!! Wait until you’re exiting with the car then pay.

They charged me double time by paying at the lobby and by the time it took me to get to the car on the 4th floor and look for the exit - they said I over stay the time limit!! So, don’t even pay at the lobby, it will save you the trouble and...
