Mila's Advanced Skin Care — Local services in Chicago

I, like many others have suffered with skin problems my entire life. My main issue has been acne, and it can get severe at times. I've been through a long line of doctors for years, but I finally realized that doctors don't proactively teach you how to care for your skin, they attempt to do something once a problem has occurred, but by then the damage has already been done, and you're desperate.. upset.. self conscious. Their solutions are just a temporary fix, if it even fixes anything. Once I started going to Mila, she taught me how to care for my skin up front, and recommended certain products that treated my case. People with skin problems often throw a lot of money at products that we don't know much about. We think.. it's expensive, so it must be good. The salesperson at Sephora recommended this, so it must work. Not the case! The products that Mila recommends aren't cheap.. but at least you know someone that sees and treats faces every single day has evaluated what you personally need and has given you a real recommendation that will work. If you care about your skin as much as I do, you will listen to what she has to say, and go to her on a regular basis. She's an opinionated lady, but it's only because she knows her stuff! So I found Mila about 6 months ago. I was referred by a friend that swore by her so I thought I have been to every dermatologist and esthetician in the Chicagoland area and nothing seemed to work... literally... from oral medications & topical medications to peels and even the most extreme accutane NOTHING worked in fact my skin was getting worse and alot of damage was being done by going to people who were mistreating my skin.
