Sep. 6, 2025. We had our check up and it was great as always. Our eye doctors here were all very good, Dr. Todd Hungerford, & Dr. Vidulich. We were greeted with a warm welcome by Debbie as if we were a friend visiting their home. Debbie, Vertrice, our Eye Doctors, and the rest of the staff has always been nice and friendly. My only concern at this visit was the patient portal that was sent to me via email. It was in a different name (Melrose Park eye doctor), It freaked me out!, I thought it was a scam email, and made me uncomfortable to click the link because I've Never been or had my eye appointment at that company, It's always Pearle Vision. So, I had to ask the PV staff (in person,) if this "Melrose Park etc." portal was associated with them. It is, However, I will definitely forget to check this portal as the name is never been familiar to me for my eye doctor, I've never been there! Pearle Vision is easy to remember for me, also for organization when I search my email for eye appointment, I always search Pearle Vision not any eye doctor place I've never been....

My eye exam with Dr. Gutierrez was such a pleasant experience. I thought she was a delightful doctor! I felt very comfortable throughout my time with her. She was extra nice and friendly. The office had a bright atmosphere and was well maintained. I was not not kept waiting for very long in between tests and doctor/staff consults. Attendants were very friendly and personable, and knew their stuff. I didn't feel harassed or pressured. For anyone considering this neighborhood vision center for an eye consult or exam, they do carry a wide selection of brand name frames. Your vision plan will go a long way if you're in the market for new frames. I got to try on a few pairs myself and settled on a simple pair of blue ones that Alexis helped me pick out. Everyone was very professional and practicing COVID protocols. The eye exam was very thorough and the optometrist was very helpful answering questions and reviewing photos take of my eyes, I'm a senior so other eye issues starting to be seen. Gustavo in from was very helpful in selecting a new pair of frames, I wanted something contemporary but not showy, I don't like the idea of having a logo or brand name visible on the frame. I tried on about 10 or 12 pairs and made a decision on a nice simple black matte finish frame. Gustavo was the person who helped me find a frame, big shout out. Gustavo had a great deal of patience and was very helpful selecting frames and making suggestions.
