Planet Fitness — Local services in Chicago

I truly enjoy facility. Staff is friendly and helpful. I like the app provides what the crowd meter is in the gym. However, every-time I come in, it’s never crowded. There are machines available, the facility is clean and there is always someone going around touching up machines by cleaning or switching out trash or cleaning spray. I don’t know everyone but they speak and always available to helpful. Kat who is the sweetest she always smiling and bubbly. Eric, the manager is friendly and asked how everything has been going at the gym(which I appreciated). I think he noticed I started coming in often. I’ve even taken advantage of the classes that are offered with Andre. I started with a design your own program in the PF app (which is awesome). This gave me an opportunity to know exactly where everything was located in the gym. Back to design your own program. Dre (Andre) asked what my fitness goals were and took time with me. I truly appreciated his time and patience. I said all that to say that this is definitely my home gym and truly enjoy the facility and staff. Lastly, unfortunately if you drive often you will have to pay for parking. The brighter side is maybe SpotHero could help with cost.

This was honestly such a frustrating and disappointing experience. I had to cancel my membership in person, but I was out of town and couldn’t make it back in time so I was still charged the annual fee. I explained everything to the general manager, Eric Buskus, hoping for a little understanding, but he couldn’t have been more indifferent. No empathy, no flexibility just kept repeating the contract like a robot. It felt like he genuinely didn’t care at all. I’ve never felt so dismissed as a paying customer. I won’t be coming back, and I definitely won’t be recommending this...

pretty bogus that the south loop location doesn’t have parking or discounted parking anywhere. i’ve been paying more per month for parking than my actual membership and am going to have to stop coming to this location because it’s too much :/ which really sucks because the location itself is great and i really like coming to it

edit reply to their reply: that’s not my job it’s your job as the company residing in the plaza to get adequate parking for your customers. there are countless parking lots in the surrounding area that you could work with to at least get...
