I have been a member at RSTR since 2021 when we moved back to the South Loop. When I first joined, it was a convenient gym right across the street; however, it has become so much more than that. RSTR is not only an amazing community, but it's a family. The team truly cares about every person who walks through the door, and takes the time to get to know you, your goals, and how they can best help you succeed. The trainers are knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely passionate about what they do and are constantly walking around the room during workouts for questions or to help fix form. The workouts are carefully crafted, a special type of "fun" :D while still pushing you to be your best. RSTR is the perfect balance of structure and encouragement, especially for those just starting their fitness journey OR for someone looking to level up and want an accountable hand to push them a little harder! Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been a member for a couple months on and off due to my busy schedule and I really commend all the staff and coaches here for doing such an amazing job at addressing questions, making everyone feel welcome, providing proper guidance on the exercises. I wish I could continue on this fitness journey with RSTR if I didnāt need to travel. I am very sure that if I could consistently be with them for 6 months, I could be completely transformed in the best way! My time with them at least gives more more confidence in doing exercises outside my norm- ones on apps/Youtube that I didnāt imagine doing otherwise.
I really also loved that they had a student membership for $119/month which covers unlimited classes, 3 sauna sessions, and a TrueSelf assessment that gives info on my weight, BMR, muscle mass and other measurements and helps me track my progress.
It was overall a great brief experience but I feel I will carry something from it that will last...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHard. Core. Workout. I value my time immensely, but I also don't spend too much time on my physical health. First time coming to RSTR and I WILL be back! They have 30min classes that not only assist in improving strength and endurance, but you'll feel like you did a 2hr workout by the end of it! This is definitely a place I can utilize my time to focus and get pumped on improving my physical shape. I'm not looking forward to the soreness, but best believe I'll BE back for some more!!! Jatnna was my coach and was suuuuuper encouraging and so enthusiastic. I was at no capacity to complete most of those 30-60second intervals (yup, they're that short of burst workouts, but they feel like a lifetime); however, she and other members were applauding and pumping me up the entire time. The energy is THERE! I highly advise at least trying a class. That's all it'll take. Now dreading...
