
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
I purchased the royal couples massage for my boyfriend's birthday as a surprise. It was his first massage and I really wanted everything to be nice for him. However I was very disappointed with the customer service that we received..or lack there of!!! The manager Layla at the front desk is the most rude, disrespectful and impatient businesswoman I have EVER encountered. Her attitude is trash! And so poor that my boyfriend looked at me after only being in the door 10 mins and said " if you had not already paid for this I would say let's leave" He did not even want the massage at that point. You will find that they falsely advertise the package...you literally only have two drinks to choose from. Anything else is extra. You also have to pay extra for them to do your back even though that is not how the package is advertised. Layla ruined the entire mood..and even though the establishment itself is warm and inviting. .she certainly diminishes all of that with her rude and dismissive ways. The massage itself was great ...we were just ready to get out of there!!!! She literally sat us at the bar and asked to take my drink order..I asked a question about her drink selection and she walked away WITHOUT responding and went to her desk and began answering the phone to schedule other guests..She took at least 4 phone calls before returning to me with an attitude because I wasn't ready to order the first time she asked. I also witnessed her be very rude, and short with SEVERAL callers when asked simple things..like the address, pricing or directions for parking. I wish she had been rude with me on the phone bc I would have canceled RIGHT THEN!.. Lastly, as I was leaving and paying for all the extra fees (drink, back massage) she threw an envelope on the table at me and walked away. ..i asked her what it was and she said "for tip" with a very nasty attitude. I put 10.00 in the envelope bc my issue was not with the masseuse it was MANAGEMENT. I saw her look in the envelope and roll her eyes, then slam it down.
Just take my word....spend your money elsewhere. The place is a dump bc of management...Unfortunately I didn't read all of the reviews before selecting them but there are MANY of them who share in this same experience...and if nothing more is telling or confirming just read her responses back to the customer reviews up here.
I definitely got what I paid for.. cheap price=cheap experience. These groupon specials are probably the only thing keeping this place in business. If they had better attitudes and people skills they wouldn't have to run these specials and people wouldn't mind paying more. Mind you this was my mother's first time getting the royal message or any massage for that matter. I figured Lela must have been cranky or down right unbelievably rude. As I booked the messages for a Saturday I had spoken to a male over the phone days prior. As I had paid 2 Groupons for 2 couples so I explained to Lela that I should get 4 drinks as I paid for 2 Groupons for 2 people as they didn't offer one person Groupons for one person on the weekends. Lela went on to tell me very rudely that no you don't get more drinks only one drink per person. Which I didn't know if that was specified but even if it wrere the argument I've tone Lela displayed was distasteful. Then I went on to explain something else regarding my Groupon purchase and Lela was just disagreeable and very argumentative not willing to listen to anything I was asking or trying to explain to her. So we finally get to the room and given gowns I didn't get my back done I already was aware of the uncharge and done care for my back being done. I wanted my mom and sister to enjoy the full experience so they got theirs done. Lela insisted I couldn't wear the gown with the open back because I wasn't getting my back done then proceeded to hand me too little shorts and shirt. I told her I wanted a gown and she just stormed out the room. My mom was looking very perplexed and ready to go. She then said I'm not going to drink what she makes for us as we got a drink with the package so I proceeded to leave the room and watch her make our drinks because people worth distain can ama will do dirty things. As I sat at the bar Lela proceeded to tell me ma'am I will bring you your drinks and I told her NO I will wait and of course this was said with rudeness as well. I was long winded with this review because I want people to know the extent of my disappointment with the service from beginning to end and work this being my mother's first experience and I highly recommended this to her and hadn't had any issues prior. Read moreFirst of all, I bought a ROYAL TREATMENT SPECIAL off of groupon. Regular price was 199.00 I paid 89.00. With this package I safely assumed back massage was included.. the groupon did exactly specify . Just said ROYAL treatment with cocktail. So being it's a massage place I think it's safe to think for that price and just the name of package In general, back would be included.... so as we check in, get into room , the Chinese guy who works the front desk not sure of name, he comes in and says the package does not include back and it would be extra 15 per person? As perplexed as I was I didn't put up a fight or even inquire into as I should have. I asked my girl she said ok to 15 per person upcharge for back to be included... upon getting treatment this lady was horrible she literally had no pressure in any of her treatment/technique. Very basic . The only plus of the massage that he upcharged for was hot stones technique, but hands only she had no pressure or even asked to inquire about how much pressure to apply as im bigger guy. THE KICKER.... so upon coming to pay final balance of 30 dollars (which was not expected as I purchased royal treatment groupon package) the Chinese front desk guy says in most rudest attitude, " only 34 dollars?! Only 2 dollars tip per person?? Then proceeds to make snarky remarks as if I stiffed the tip on purpose. This guy needs go take some customer service classes for sure, as I almost didn't tip anything. MOMENT U CAME IN TO GET MORE MONEY OUT OF ME WITH THAT BS UPCHARGE OF BACK NOT INCLUDED, U ESSENTIALLY TOOK YOUR WORKERS TIP!! SO BEFORE U GOUGE CUSTOMERS FOR MORE $$ THINK ABOUT YOUR WORKERS AS YOU AND YOUR GREED ARE THE REASON THEY WERE LEFT W/O TIP. AND FRANKLY THE SERVICE DIDN'T DESERVE ME TO EVEN BUY THE PACKAGE LET ALONE A TIP. WAY BETTER MASSAGE SPOTS...
