We were pretty disappointed with the tour. Another couple was late and the tour guide spent a portion of the tour taking calls and guiding the late group to our session. This really killed the vibe and made it hard to be immersed.

The ghost stories were decent, but a large majority were all within a very close 1 block radius of each other. This did not feel like a walking tour as we did far more standing than walking.

When we reached our destination at Oz park, the guide ended on an underwhelming story. We were very caught off guard and surprised at how abrupty this ended. We purchased the extended tour to have 90 tour minutes compared to the normal 60; we were only given 1 hour of tour time! Firstly, this is entirely a walking tour. I didn't know that upon purchasing and it was a struggle for my father.

My tour guide was Tammie and she was amazing. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and enthusiastic. There was a bit of walking (maybe 5 blocks give or take) but with so many great stories and spooky history it didn't bother me one bit. Just want to note that just in case you or your company have trouble walking or standing for long periods of time. Being from Chicago, I enjoy learning about my city even the spooky parts. Our tour guide was Tammie and she was attentive, engaging, knowledgeable, and charismatic. Her stories were interesting and compelling. I have lived in Chicago all my life and like most Chicagoans we don't really take the time to learn about our city and the history behind it.. especially the spooky part.
