UPDATE: so I’m changing my post from the worst experience to cellular sales in Chickasha has the best manager who actually cares! So after my horrible experience, the manager Linn reached out to my husband and I. He cares deeply about his customers and wanted to fix this bad situation. I really appreciated this! We visited the store and he fixed all the problems we had had! He is just the nicest person! If anyone has a problem with their phones or service they received, they should just go talk to Linn! Thanks Linn for all your help! This was the worst cell phone experience ever and I’m not happy AT ALL! So my husband and I were in search of a new cell phone provider, so we left AT&T and chose to go to Verizon. We visited the local Verizon store aka Cellular Sales in Chickasha, OK. We go in and are greeted by Jacob who was very nice. I explained to him that we were leaving AT&T because of the always high bills, and that my main goal was to lower my cell phone bill. I told him that we needed 3 lines and that my husband and I have always been iPhone users and that our daughter was a android user. So with that being said, we were going to need new phones, but I was concerned about the prices of the phones per moth in order to keep our bill as low as possible. I came into the store with a iPhone X 256gb. He told us that the only iPhone that was low in price per month was the iPhone SE and it was 16 something per month, but that there was some special in which you could get the Motorola Z4 for only $10 per month. He kept stressing that we could bring back the Motorola within 14 days if we were not happy with them. I did ask him several times what the cost would be out the door with the Motorola Z4; as I didn’t want to have to pay a lot in store. He told us that for under $50 in store we could get 3 phones with screen protectors and cases for all of them. At one point one employee Kirstie called him over to where she was and had a conversation with him. I found out what she had said to him a few days later when we made our 3rd trip to the store because Jacob never set up my phone. She had told him that he needed to tell us about getting the iPhone 11 for only $6 PER MONTH, with having to pay a little more in store. WHAT????? He NEVER NEVER NEVER MENTIONED THIS TO US! She also told him that we would not be happy with those Motorola Z4’s, since all we have ever had was iPhones. WHY DIDNT HE TELL US ABOUT THE IPHONE 11??? Read moreI was sitting here watching TV Friday all of a sudden my TV went off. I kept trying to get it to come on but then it said I had no internet connection. I called Verizon here in Chickasha, Oklahoma and he said he could test my internet box if I would bring it in. I only live about 3 miles away so I got ready and got there and Kodee checked it for me and sure enough it was dead. After a phone call with Verizon, some guy from India, they said they could get me a new box the earliest would be Monday but would more likely be Tuesday. I was not happy but I wasn't mad at Kodee. He was very sweet and understanding. So, I calmed down! Friday evening I got an email from Verizon and it said my new box would be at my house Saturday. I really had a hard time believing that but sure enough, UPS delivered it Saturday. After a call with Verizon support, I got all hooked up again with wifi and all my electronics I have with wifi were working. But I mainly give Kodee more praise than anyone because of his patience with me and doing all he could. Before I left the store Friday, he told me that if I needed anything that he would help. So today I took the box that was dead back to Verizon and he boxed it up for me and tomorrow I will take it to UPS to send back to them. Read moreAdjusted my one star review to three. There is an update at the end of my first review. 1st review was one star: Alicia is a liar. She says what you want to hear just to get the sale. But she's not really paying attention. Then the truth comes out about the reaI costs which are much higher when you try to check out. It has affected her coworkers, but management protects her. So the problem persists. Don't waste time with Alicia. Laugh in her face and ask for help from another employee, not a manager. Or better yet, go somewhere else until she is removed. I walked out frustrated right after another customer left cursing and saying every time he goes there he gets lies and manipulation.
Update: A couple of days later, the store manager called and apologized. He said the right things and seemed sincere. We had already pursued another course of action to fulfill our needs, so his tangible gestures couldn't be accepted. I will consider trying the store again...
