Submitting documents is a complete nightmare through their canvas type of software which your grade depends on. The formating of documents constantly converting to docx from microsoft word which with their laptop does not activate ever, (i tried for hours) desperately trying to submit my document i spent DAYS on is a hopeless nightmare. Learning coding and submitting assignments is a soulgrinding crawl with many bumps and stop signs along the way. Its not straightforward and when you work and have limited time its no wonder many are discouraged and heartbroken and drop from this college. Always a new project with little or no guidence. Frustrating frustrating and hopefully its not all in vain. Thats kind of my experince at butte college. Then after that i have the gas station crawl all night where many customers are rude, degrading and terrible. It would be great to have tutors that help you complete your modules rather than HIDE answers and expect you to know things you dont know it just seems so inaccessable and pointless. Im ok with education but i dont think id reccomend butte with the constant nightmares and potholes and new bad suprises in the way. Thats my experience. I would not do this again...
