Overall, D-Bros is a solid coffee co. You know what you're getting. It's not overly priced any more than everything else in USA is, and the quality is always spot on. I only have one gripe. It's only during this particular holiday season in 2024. Every year around the holidays, by lady and i enjoy Dutch Bros during our Christmas Shopping trips to the mall or wherever. My lady is restricted from injesting sugar due to medical recommendations. She has ALWAYS loved getting their sugar free peppermint mocha. While other coffee shops don't have an option for this, we gravitated to DBros. HOWEVER, this year the Chico locations have chosen not to serve it because it wasn't a big seller. I completely understand PNL reports and taking losses on a product is bad for business. But, just really sucks that now we gotta take our money to...ugh.... Starbucks. We do NOT want to give that corperation any of our money, but with no option for sugar free christmas drinks, she's probably going to. Nothing bad on the store, They rock, they are always nice and full of energy (too much some times lol) and i always feel taken care of. Except this morning when i sent my lady to this location and she was informed about the change in menu. I can only ask that if a Manager reads this, PLEEEEEAAAASE beg and plead corprate to allow you to bring our favorite drink back.... Please... Thank you for all the good coffee! Sincerely, a Guy...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDutch Bros has amazing coffee. Im an addict! Don't care for the taste of espresso? Try white coffee in ours place. Just don't add too many shots, its higher caffeine and has a nutty taste but gets weird if you add too many shots. They are also great with making sugar free drinks! Not all sugarfree products are The same and They helped me navigate the too sweet syrups(normal) and other bases for drinks. They hire friendly, happy people who love to get to know their customers. They aren't shy about giving out a free drink if you're having a very bad day to make it better. And a free drink on your birthday! š With 3 of the 4 Chico locations being 24 hrs they're always available, and they are well placed throughout town. They can be a bit too popular during the commute hours, with lines completely cramped in their small lots. Sign up for there texts and they let you know about their specials and events as they come up. And don't forget the stamp cards for a free! Day cards need 10 stamps and night (6pm to 6am) need 5 stamps. It adds up very quickly and because it's free you can feel free to try something new. On the rare occasion that I've tried something new and hatred it they've made me a drink that i liked to replace it. Honestly it's a great company all the way around. They way they treat costumers and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI stopped coming to Dutch Brothers often because they could never get my order correct but what happened today was the icing on the cake.
I always stop by and purchase, or sometimes they don't even charge me, for 2 large ice waters.
The white girl with dread locs told me I had to purchase a $2 bottle of water or she could give me the waters if I purchased a drink. I had already been by earlier and purchased a lemonade. Nope. Had to make another purchase.
Why couldn't I just buy the 2 large ice waters like I have done before? She said it was policy and her mentor was inside so she couldn't just ring me for the waters.
I am still confused why I could buy a bottle of water but at this location I couldn't buy large ice waters in the cups. Like I said, I have done it many times in the past including a few days ago.
I won't be a patron of the company anymore. I think if you come sporadically or have low standards they are probably a great company but I can't justify buying even lemonade when they won't even sell me water.
The training they undergo can't give people common sense so while they can get good at faking being happy to their customers but they have a hard time making drinks and won't sell you water. Maybe less disco party...
