Galley — Local services in Chico

First of all if you like smug, mean staff then you've come to the right place. My girlfriend and I came there two weeks ago and bought a coffee pot for our non profit organization. The pot we purchased wasn't condusive for our participants. It wasn't broken it was just way too hard for our participants to work. We brought it back and was told, "we can't give you your money back cause you used it" Well that's nice but how do you know if it works for or not unless you "USE" it to see if it fits the bill. We were told that we could get store credit. "F" that. I WILL NOT COME BACK AND WILL LET EVERYONE ELSE KNOW NOT TO GO THERE! Bad experience all the way around. Now we are stuck with something we can't use just because they are way too cheap to take something back and satisfy...

The galley is it an excellent place to find all your kitchen cookware, utensils and unique kitchen gadgets that you won't find anywhere else. There is also a beautiful gift shop with in-store gift wrapping and locally made spices herbs and sauces. They have a small Deli with excellent Meats and an array of specialty cheeses. Seasonally they have a cooking demo on Saturdays presented by local chefs, Cooks, and other qualified individuals to come in and prepare and demonstrate so you can sample different recipes and learn techniques. This is a great experience to be able to interact with the individuals doing the cooking demonstrations. The staff is very inviting, helpful and knowledgeable. The store is so clean and well organzied! I didn't even come in looking for anything in particular but when I did find something, there was a whole section of that item and it had such a wonderful and organized display! The staff was very friendly as well. I came in and wandered around for awhile and then was approached asking if I needed help and he was so kind to point me in the right direction!
