Edit: Chico location 4/5 Corporate Leadership 0/5. First, Chico. The people are good people and they try their best to keep up with a busy environment and keep the customer first. I have nothing but good things to say about the local people I have interacted with. Corporate however, needs to learn how to take care of their employees. A decision was made on high, up in the headshed to cut multiple company titles The people that occupied those positions regardless of any factor including years given to this establishment were fired, deleted, no lateral opportunity no nothing. All that work for nothing and not even the courtesy to do it in person. I refuse to support a business that treats their people that way. Just like a great employee gave me cause me to drive 250 miles any time I needed archery work and purchase anything outdoors I ever could think of from his place of work, a group of people steering this corporate nightmare can cause me to refuse them my business for the rest of my life, I have also steered a lot of people that way, those recommendations have been rescinded as well. Corporate should be ashamed of themselves.
The staff in archery are the embodiment of excellent customer service. Their ability to impart knowledge in archery is beyond reproach. I will say that I bought my own bow at a pro shop elsewhere and the customer service was not anywhere close to what they provide. We purchased my wife her first bow and the process was the most pleasant retail experience in my life. They helped her select the Bow for her, set it up for her, and gave her some lessons on the basics, all while entertaining my million questions about the sport. They were very honest in pointing out where we could start off a little cheaper and work our way up and where we should just spend the better money in our budget. They were very conscious of our budget and kept us within $2 of the budget we requested!!! They may have sold us an entry bow yesterday but in the grand scheme of things they just sold me every bow I plan to ever purchase. they have a discriminatory return policy based upon their own decisions whether or not an item is resellable and able to be put back out on the shelves. I tried to return a mattress pad that I only used once that I purchased a week ago, and they proceeded to be very pretentious about it and inspect it, it had a very minor slit in it due to cutting off the outer wrapping. they said it was on resellable and they wouldn't be able to put it back on the floor. My question was why would you put sleeping material back out on the floor anyways what if I had bed bugs on it and it was infected? It seemed to me like they wanted to make a big deal over not getting me store credit or refunding my money and the overall price was $25. the whole problem started when someone over the phone on there end assured me I could return it without a receipt and get store credit. but upon arriving the store I had to wait 15 minutes for a manager who proceeded to just make up policy and was very disrespectful towards me. She seems more like a ditz than a manager. Sportsman Warehouse is way overpriced in the first place and I knew it was a lose-lose but I was misled by calling the store and talking to some stupid employee who was misinformed. in the end I don't understand why they couldn't just write off the product give me an in-store credit and proceeded to make me the customer happy. I shopped there once in a blue moon and so now that I have had a bad experience I plan on telling 25 people about my experience and hope that my friends and family member choose to not purchase material at Sportsman's Warehouse. in fact after that I had to return something at Walmart without a receipt they were able to look up my purchase through my credit card refund me $21 in cash no questions asked so I appeal to Sportsman Warehouse you need to change your return policy and you need to focus more on customer satisfaction so you can keep...

I entered the store and went to the back of the store for the gun display area To look for primers and birds shut low base shotgun shills My experience of the young man in that area was pleasant I asked him where I could pick up an order I had made he instructed me to go to the front of the store if the front of the store I asked a young lady blonde in Low 20s And asked her if I could pick up my order there she questioned whether I had asked for the order at the gun counter I said yes that they had instructed me to the front of the store she displayed an attitude as if it were burdensome to her. next thing she brings out is half of the order of eight boxes of primers and asked me to sign on her phone for the receipt of the merchandise I questioned her about the other four boxes of primer that were not in the bag She insisted I sign her phone first Before she brought the other bag out. I asked why I was signing for two different orders I had only made one order on the Internet she could not give me an answer for that I asked for the manager. the blonde girl had walked to the back to get the manager the manager an older woman in her 50s dark hair immediately showed a poor attitude towards me And asked was a problem was. I asked her the manager why I was signing for only half of my order and why was I signing on a phone she begrudgingly Sent to the order Was split into half the order coming from another store I therefore need to sign two different invoices(so I assume) on their phone. I received no receipt or paperwork And I still do not know what I signed on their phone I was giving no copies. Will go out of my way to not do business with this store again.
