The Dungeon — Local services in Chico

Hands down best smoke shop in Chico. Staff are always welcoming as if you are part of the family. Family run business, great atmosphere, great music always playing, best prices on glass and novelty's for great quality. Anytime I go in for something and they don't have it the next time I go in they end up having it, they are great at getting what the customer wants. Ehab (E) is always making jokes he's a very funny guy, and always has great advice for all my smoking needs, he's very knowledgeable as well as his father (Rick). The main reason I LOVE The Dungeon is because of the staff, to be honest every smoke shop has the same stuff in them but for the past 25 years that they've been in business the hospitality and compassion for the customer and their needs are most important. Not a single time have I left The Dungeon in disappointment!...

Bought a $65 bubbler from The Dungeon. Tried to use it but was having an issue with it not bubbling. Upon closer inspection, the stem wasn't even attached to the bowl, as in there was a defect in the glass and the base of the stem didn't line up with the bowl. I went in and asked to get it switched out for a different one but was told to come back after 9:00pm since the manager would have to authorize it. I went in tonight and was told I cannot trade it for a non defective one nor can I get a refund because I had used it once. The reasoning is "it can't be put back on the shelf" if it's been used. It is a defective bubbler that shouldn't have been sold to begin with and shouldn't be resold, regardless. Out a bubbler and $65. Would not recommend shopping for glassware as they do not hold their products up to par and don't right...

I had a great experience going here! I was a bit nervous about going in since it was my first time going to buy glass for myself (just turned 21!) But the man who assisted us was amazing! I took a while looking around because I was very indecisive, but he remained friendly and understanding. I was still undecided so we left the shop and took a look at a few other places. None compared to here! The prices, quality of product, variety, and most of all the customer service. We returned to the shop to get the piece I had first looked at. And I'm so glad I did! I learned that this is a family owned business, and it feels so important that here in Chico we support our locals. If you're looking to support locals, find high quality glass/products, i definitely recommend...
