Im going on delivery #8 for my 1 kitchen table. After the last delivery issue- I called customer service and told them i no longer wanted their product after all of the inconveniences this has caused me. I was told - i had already signed for the original delivery and no returns would be accepted. I asked for my delivery fee to be refunded... was basically told to F off. Their customer service is awful- at one point i asked to speak with a supervisor and one of the associates told me “i don’t have a supervisor” ... i called back & got a supervisor - not that the supervisor was ANY help.
First delivery- damaged table top, stained chair, no bench.
Second delivery- received new table top
Third delivery- someone was schedule to clean my chair.. i received a call that he had car issues- rescheduled for the following weekend- delivery driver showed anyways even though customer care rescheduled, i had left.
Fourth delivery- man showed up to clean my chair (small dirt scuff barely noticeable) - didn’t even try to clean just ordered another chair.
Fifth delivery was supposed to be my bench. I had my neighbor accept delivery for me (as bob wont work with your work schedule at all). They wouldn’t allow my neighbor to sign for it because i didn’t give him keys to my home. Wasted 40 minutes of my neighbors time. I spent an hour & a half on the phone with customer care while at work- ended up so mad/frustrated I cried and hung up.
Sixth delivery- received my new chair via fedex (never received any updates as to where my chair was or when it would be delivered). I was told to call bob and schedule yet another person to come out to assemble. After 5 miserable deliveries, i assembled myself. (This would have been their 7th delivery).
Eighth delivery- is scheduled today between 9-12. Its currently 10:15, I’ve received no updates.
Never will I ever shop Bobs again. In store service wasn’t great- i had to track a sales associate down... and then she didn’t know how to order the product. Customer Care and delivery is absolute sh**
If I hadn’t paid $1200 for this table, I would throw it off of my balcony.
Update- Delivery #8 delivered a damaged bench. Instead of replacing, theyre sending a technician... how will he “fix” a gouge/splintering...
Read moreWe went to Bob's discount furniture in search of a small sectional. My 10yr old daughter brought in her pet cricket, "Kriquette", to help us select the perfect piece. Unfortunately, Kriquette lept from her hand to take residence under the ice cream freezer. Fun fact- Bob's offers complimentary ice cream, coffee, and sweets to customers. Naomi helped us out with finding the perfect couch and my 10yr old recounted her sad tale of her pet cricket.
We selected a sectional that is an absolute transformer, with hidden storage, built in bookshelf and pop-up hide away bed. Perfect for a movie night with our family of 4.
We left the store happy with our purchase and excited for the delivery, ready to relax and kick up our feet. Naomi was a huge help and her friendly demeanor and expertise helped us purchase our first couch since pre pandemic times.
A few minutes later, we received a text message, it was Naomi. They had found Kriquette. We were walking around the area, and went straight into the Bob's Discount furniture. Naomi explained where she had seen him and how he had posed for a picture, and then hopped away. Crickets are hoppy little creatures. Naomi and the Bob's crew helped us look high and low, and my daughters created a temporary home out of a cup in case he was found. Just as we were about to leave, we thanked everyone for their help, and wouldn't you know it, Naomi found him hopping about. We scooped him up and my daughter had a big ol' smile on her face. "Best Day ever!" she exclaimed, as we walked out the door with her precious little insect. Thank you so much Naomi and the Bob's Discount Furniture crew in Chula Vista, not only for helping us to find the perfect sectional, but for bringing a smile to a little girl's face. These are the types of memories that will stay with us forever. You just made lifelong...
Read moreHello, I purchased a sectional in August. I still have not received it. I've been to the store on 4 occasions due to mistakes made by the salesperson Rosa. She spelled my name wrong and I received my credit card with the name misspelled I had to go to the store bc I was never updated regarding my delayed delivery in September I had to go to the store again bc my delivery was set to be delivered on 10/22, my wedding day, instead of the requested date of 10/29. Rosa assured me she would followup and change the delivery date. She didn't. On 10/22 they attempted delivery to my house even tough I specifically said 10/29 . I knew the store would mess this up so to ensure this i had them write a note on my order. Thank god I did bc on 10/22 a delivery truck was sent to the house with half the couch. I had requested to receive my order in full. I sent my husband to the store to find out our delivery date. AGAIN..no date in sight and a piece of the couch is still missing.
This is absolutely ridiculous, a waste of my time and your customer service is beyond horrible.
The last time I was at the store, the manager with the short blonde hair cut made a comment that I could hear to a store employee bc she knew I was upset with the terrible experience I've had. I'm pretty sure at this point, anyone would be mad. I have had no couch in my house for months now bc I was supposed to receive them in a timely manner.
At this point there's nothing you could do to resolve this unless your going to give me a free couch or better yet SEND IT TO...
