Carrie is "one of the managers". That's what she calls herself. She is so unprofessional, rude and ignorant people I have ever crossed paths with. After helping an elder disabled person move i stopped in for sandwich stuff. After I paid I remembered one more item I wanted. I went back onvtye store to and could not fund it. Carrie comes running towards me (om thinking big she's late to clock in or something) she asks me if I need help finding something. At first I thought ,," how nice of her to notice I needed help. I smiled and said yes. "Isle 8" Carrie said. After getting my last item I went straight to the cashier to pay. As I turned around Carrie is also at the register. She ask fir my receipt. I hand her my bag. The receipt was in the bag along with my purchased items. Then in front of the in front of all the people inside the store, Carrie starts yelling at me telling bag me I can never go back to that store because the girl outside was caught multiple times by her stealing. I have no idea what that has to do with me. I pay for my things, in fact, I was shopping alone. I had my reciept. She went on and on very loud and very rude about how I can no longer shop at the grocery outlet.thdn as it ask out to my vehicle Carrie escorts me as she is calling me names and tskjbg pictures. To top it off, the girl she was talking about was outside. Carrie started calling her bones, Carrie put her hand in her purse and pulled out what looked like dirty beach clothes. When the girl told her why are you stealing from her purse Carrie said this...."if you steal front me why can't I steal fron you?" As I was able to get in my vehicle to drive away from this very disturbed woman, the customer t was behind me in line made it ca point to walk up to me to say he will never return to that store because of how I was treated by a manager I am still very upset. I was so hurt by how I was treated and then to be banned from a store! I pay for my groceries and she treated me like a criminal. I donate my time to help people and that's what I was doing that day. I was helping an elderly woman and her adult daughter move. Neither one has a driver's license and i do. I was the driver, donating my time. I just wanted a sandwich and crackers. Read moreI normally don't go to this location but since I stopped to fill up gas I just went in to grab a few items. As usual I had my purse and a shopping tote with me. As soon as I walked in, this old ponytail associate guy at a cashier started to scream at me. At first I didn't understand it was me he was screaming at. So I looked and all the customers eyes were on me, too. I walked to him to find out what's going on and he was rudely " you can't have 2 bags here!" I was like "huh?" Then he repeats. I showed inside of my bags. The customer who was at the register said it's an empty. The. He said leave the bag here and use a basket. I asked him " do I need to check out here then?" He goes " yeah". I've never encountered this situation. Since plastic bags were banned or needed to purchase, I've been carrying my EMPTY TOTES everytime I go shopping. Read moreI have been buying my groceries at Chula Vista 3rd ave store and National City store for years, but in the past year I noticed an issue at the 3rd avenue store, some items are advertised at a certain price but when you pay for them they came up with a higher price. I talked to the manager already and she apologized and said it was a mistake. This issue it's happening very often now. The last time it happened, the cashier guy (mature guy with pony tail) was very rude. Also I agree with other reviews, the lady in charge (manager?) is very rude. This store has very good prices, just very carefully pay attention when they are scanning your items, make sure they are not overcharging you. And be prepared to deal with some (not all ) incompetent and rude employees. Store owner, please reevaluate the standard of procedures and reevaluate your employees, some are excellent but some need more training. And please, no more ghost prices. Just...
