They sell b stock instruments at top shelf price. Paid a premium for an alvarez acoustic. Couldn't figure out why it was buzzing. Brought it to owner. He told me it's because I use elixir coated strings. That didnt make much sense. So I started looking into my guitar. It's an "almost perfect alvarez" meaning a flawed "b" stock instrument. Finally a year later I get it to an actual luthier to find the neck is overset. Causing the buzz. The cost to repair is as much as its going to cost to replace it. $700 bucks for a guitar that sells (as b stock) for 2-300 at most. If you dont belive me. Model and serial are in photo. Look it up yourself. Almost all their alvarez guitars are marked "almost perfect". Factory 2nds sold at top shelf prices. Do your research before throwing...

I stopped in looking for help to find the right guitar for myself to learn on. The owners, Wendell and Brigitte were friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. They were not looking for a quick sale, and gave me advice on how I could work with my current guitar to have it work better for me. In the end, Wendell helped me to select the best guitar for me, a case and replacement strings for when I need them. I’m not from this area, so they did all of this knowing I will not be a regular customer. However, every time we are in town, I plan to visit this shop and give them my business. They have a nice selection here however, I will NEVER shop here again...I paid cash fr items for a father's day gift totaling $27.55, I gave the man a $50 dollar bill, I didn't count my change because I trusted him to give me the correct change:/ he gave me $13 back. He stole $10 of my change is why I will never recommend this store...
