All I can say to start, is WOW !!! This is a real Hardware Store...

I stopped in on Sunday, about 15 minutes before they were to close & I said that this was my first time there, and I was going to leave in a minute or two...They said " Take as much time as you need, and look around all you want"...This was said with a genuine smile on their faces....

I was amazed at the selection that they have in the store...The Hardware section caused my Jaw to drop... Not only do they have a section of Metric nuts & bolts, but they have a section of Stainless Steel hardware that was amazing...(Boat owners take notice! ) They also carry nuts and bolts in different grades.Their plumbing section is great too!

The store is packed to the rafters, so they have a good selection of just about everything.

The store is well organized and very clean also.

It is a real Old Time Hardware Store, that is worth going to.

Great Hardware store. I was sorely missing the local hardware that used to be in Beacon, because it seriously saved us from having to deal with Home Depot and Lowe's. When they closed a few years back I thought we were doomed to dealing with those guys. Thank goodness Brett's opened and they have been a Godsend. Whenever we need anything of the hardware variety they are our go to store. Plus the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. An added plus is that they are a TrueValue, so if we need something they don't have in the store, we can order it online from TrueValue and have it shipped to the store...

Bretts hardware in beacon is well stocked, convienient and with reasonable pricing. For example, I purchased low voltage wiring there today. It is sold by the foot meaning an employee needs to cut the amount I want to purchase. That employee was readily in the area of the store and I was out quick. I know from experience, at Home Depot an employee is hard to find and the cost of the wire is more expensive. But equally as important, Bretts has a friendly knowledgable staff.
