5 STARS all around! Sit tight for this review, it’s quite detailed because the experience was truly amazing.

To begin Hurricane Debbie came strong with torrential downpours, so we arrived to dinner completely drenched! The staff were so accommodating- they could tell my husband and I were cold and uncomfortable and without even asking they brought over T-shirts from their sister restaurant MOD (go check it out delicious burger and chicken sandwich) we could change into at no cost. That was very thoughtful.

The food: we enjoyed a summer tasting menu focused on fruits from the region. My personal faves were the “cheddar bay biscuit”, the pasta with corn and the watermelon and tuna. Delicious eats, presented in a detailed manner as each dish was explained as it came out.

The ambience- 1000000% the dinner is setup as an intimate shared experience as your sitting at a long table with other diners. At first when we walked in soaked I thought this is gunna suck because we’re already uncomfortable- BUT, it turned out to be a night of lively conversations sharing itinerary ideas for the weekend with both city...

Whether you’re making the trip up from the city or you’re lucky enough to call Dutchess County home, Beacon Quality Eats is absolutely worth the stop. This spot is serving up some of the best sandwiches in the Hudson Valley—hands down.

On a recent visit, I tried the Duck Banh Mi and The Fred—both were phenomenal. The flavors were bold, balanced, and creative, without being overdone. The duck was tender and richly seasoned, and The Fred hit that perfect savory-satisfying spot. And the house-made pastrami? Out. Standing. You can tell it’s made with care and quality from the very first bite.

The vibe inside matches the food—laid back, cool, and effortlessly inviting. There’s fantastic street art on the walls, ceiling, and even in the bathroom, all done by a local artist, which gives the place a great energy that fits right into Beacon’s creative spirit.

It’s easy to swing by, grab something delicious, and head out to explore the town, or just hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back and try more from the menu.

This place isn’t just a quick stop—it’s a reason to visit Beacon...

Kitchen Sink catered our wedding and it was truly spectacular. Friday night was a fried chicken buffet that our guests could not get enough of. Saturday food came in two batches of amazing, but the first round--our picnic dinner--was really to die for. The grill-top veggies and roasted meats were something that our guests talked to us about for weeks following the wedding. It's hard to call this wedding food, because it was really just an utterly amazing, perfectly designed meal that we got to eat on our most special day. Food aside - the team is also fire. Brian is a master chef and I think Jeff is KS's master of the house - high energy, and makes you just feel fun and festive and special all of the time. HUGE thanks to KS... thank god you have a restaurant we can come back to again and again.

OH. And my husband has Celiac Disease. Almost everything was the same except for some pita, pie crust and the fried chicken. But he said his fried chicken is the best he's had. He got to enjoy with everyone else, not be nervous about cross contamination and the guests didn't have to eat strictly...
