Lake George Olive Oil Co. — Local services in City of Glens Falls

I would like to share my wonderful experience with the Lake George Olive Oil Co. in Glens Falls. My daughter was getting married at Jiminy Peaks Ski Resort this May. I was having a breakfast for our guests the morning of the wedding. My plan was to have varieties of breads made by the Berkshire Mountain Bakery to dip in olive oil and vinegar pairings from the Lake George Olive Oil Company. I spent a flavor-filled time trying different combinations suggested by Carmella, the owner. She was very helpful, with lots of great ideas and she spent quite a bit of time with me. I finally chose walnut oil with chocolate vinegar, lemon oil with raspberry vinegar and blood orange oil with tangerine vinegar. They have a great selection of olive oils and balsamic vinegars to taste and for sale. The flavors are delicious and inventive. Each oil/vinegar station includes mixing suggestions for partner oils and vinegars. They also sell some local spices, honeys, jams, and condiments.
