I enjoy the atmosphere, the live local music, and the people. I Just want to say that first. However, I went there with the understanding that most if not all of the vendors are REQUIRED to accept SNAP (food stamp) benefit cards for "qualified" food products. The vendors I attempted to purchase from either did not have the card scanners, or simply told me they don't accept them. I am hugely disappointed by this. Other, smaller, independently operated farm stands that I have visited in the area DO accept SNAP benefits. This perplexes me. That said, despite my disappointment regarding the SNAP issue, I still enjoyed the free samples, and the vendors are all very personable and informative. That just made the sting of not being able to purchase local, organic produce, honey, maple syrup, bread, and the like a little worse, however. I will still visit, and I would recommend this farm stand to anyone. Anyone who isn't trying to use SNAP benefits, anyway. I also wish it was opened Saturday AND Sunday... I don't always have Saturday free, and I can't be the only one. Or maybe at least opened past noon on Saturday. Great variety, great atmosphere, personable, informative vendors, live, local music.... Worth a visit at the very least....

The vendors were all very helpful and polite. Both my sister and I were able to snag a few goodies. I think having the market in the mall is a great idea. You can go to the market, get what you need and then hit up some of the stores as well and shop for clothes, or other items at either Ollie's or the other Discount store across from...
