The store has many sections. They have two large sections of very high end beautiful antiques. These two large sections have been there since before the pandemic. I've tried several times to find these sections open and these sections have never been open. From what I can see nothing in these sections have been sold. $4,000 lamps, statues etc in the four years they've been there. I've never talked to the owner of these sections but he is almost always present in those sections even though they are closed. He was adding antiques today. I've never inquired to anyone or the owner as to the status of when these large sections will be open. After waiting four years I finally approached the owner. I started to ask when he's open. He interrupted me and said "I'm in no mood to talk to you, and after a slight pause, he added "or anyone today." Really nasty. I received a similar reaction with a different antique owner a year or so back, that was just an outburst of "We're closed." But the place was open. Please beware, this establishment holds itself out as a store, but large sections of it are used for antique storage (not for sale) It's not going to be clear since some of the products on the outer fringes that are definitely not for sale, do have price tags on them. Some of the people working there have been terrific. But due to the largeness of the store, there's a big risk you're going to approach other antique owners that are there doing whatever there doing with their antiques in storage but are upset, even offended, that you have interrupted them to ask about their antiques. The establishment does not indicate which sections of the store are available to the walk-in public and which sections are used for storage (or perhaps for very private VIP sales?) In any event there are people working with antiques at the Antique Warehouse that will be very angry that the customer has entered this establishment thinking they've entered an antique store. If you see something you're interested in and you attempt to approach a person who appears to be an employee, brace yourself for an irate, interrupted person who will treat you like he's dealing with a peasant. I hope you'll be lucky and get one of the very friendly ones. You won't know until you try. I'm going to keep going back. The inventory is wonderful. Just make sure to wear your armor and leave any self-pride you have at the door. Please note the attached photos represent antiques that ARE not for sale available to the walk-in public, nor have they ever been. Stay the heck out of the way of the elder gentleman you see hovering around his...
Read moreIt was nice besides this horrible seller who accused us of stealing. He has glasses, and a big O sign for open. We were opening up vintage Cartier boxes and he basically kicked us out of his area. Seemed racial because he was nice to another white customer. Do not shop there he has a terrible attitude...
