WYLDE Hudson — Restaurant in City of Hudson

probably the most bitter and flavorless and poorly textured cappuccino of my life. the menu says the pastries are from breadfolks but unless those guys forgot everything they ever learned about making a croissant that can’t be true. it was almost identical to wonder bread and at least 24 hours old. i bumped it to 2 stars because there’s always a couch to lay on. what does this place contribute? they don’t bake, they buy their cold brew premade in kegs, they don’t seem too concerned with staff knowing how to make espresso taste good. i think wydle is the epicenter of the makerweekenderfiddleleaffigification of hudson....

Three stars for the atmosphere. That’s honestly the only reason I ever come here on occasion is because I like it as a work space but the drinks are not their strong suit I must say. Every drink I’ve had from here has never been satisfying unfortunately. I hate to say it because I do enjoy the ambience they provide as a space. But almost every time I’ve gotten a beverage from here it’s been lukewarm and seemed like it was made half-assed. Went here after finding it on instagram and I will say that it is very instagrammable, but that’s where the positives end for me. The staff at the counter were rude to my wife suggesting that they make lattes that aren’t like Starbucks even though she never stated that was what she wanted. We brought our dog who is extremely friendly and the owners dog who was in the store snapped at both our dog and my wife. Lastly, it was just ok coffee for the price.
