After repeated visits agonizing over which extremely expensive latex matter to buy, miscommunication by a sales associate during the final paperwork resulted in me receiving the wrong firmness. I purchased an addition topper for the mattress which was supposed to be medium with a firm base, she only specified firm with no indication of my mattress topper. In what universe would I purchase a $500 firm topper on top of a firm mattress? When it was dropped off, I noted that the mattress felt nothing like what I tried in story. The delivery guy claimed it would soften or I could buy a wool topper to the tune of about $350. He left quickly and told me to call the store.

I am now stuck with and am now desperately trying to sell a mattress which I cannot sleep on without severe pain.

Buyer beware! There is absolutely 100% no returns on mattresses. I wanted to support a local business but was totally cheated. This was not a small snafu ON THEIR PART and I am 100% unhappy with my purchase. The mistake was theirs and upon further communication the sales associate shockingly offered to sell me a $500 replacement topper. They were absolutely unwilling to own their mistake in the contract which was easy to miss.

I have since found numerous other customers who have had similar experiences with shady sales tactics. I was told to contact the mattress customer service even though the mistake was theirs. Also the mattress cover was too tight, compressing the latex. I ended up buying a 3” tempurpedic topper, putting it on top of the cover after taking out the unwanted 3” firm latex topper. Looks sloppy but at least it’s a bit better.

We stopped in here yesterday for the first time, after our eyes were caught as we walked through the Apple Harvest Festival. I fell in love with the store almost immediately! Such a wonderful selection of interesting and useful and, in some cases, whimsical items. I bought several items I didn't even plan to buy, since I loved the store at first sight and wanted to support it with my dollars. And I loved the place before I stepped up to pay and an employee complimented the overalls I was wearing! You've NO idea how happy that made me, and if I could award a sixth star to this review just for that, I would. We don't get to Ithaca nearly as often as we would like (we live near Buffalo, so Ithaca is a trek), but your store will be a staple of visits to come as long as...

Thought this was a great store but ended up being really disappointed! Bought 4 plants that were NOT cheap! 3 had spidermites! White fusion calathea has died already and the other 2 are on their way! In an attempt to get rid of the spider mites, I repotted the plants only to find that all 3 barely had a root system! Wrapped in a gauze like container, with barely any roots at all. I have 100+ plants in my home and they are all thriving. Thankfully I recognized the spider mites before it was able to spread throughout my home. Will not...
