Dollar General — Local services in City of Oneonta

Once Allan passed away which was a huge hit for everyone, this store is a hot mess. I feel like I work there if I pile up products of expired so badly 6 months to 2 years expired. The employees are rude as hell I don't know why they're not fired. The new store manager I saw a big difference when I walked in the other day it was actually beautiful and I was like wow I haven't seen this in years. I don't know why there's good reviews I'm going to be honest with you LOL if you've ever gone to this please you know how bad it is. Dollar general clearly doesn't care about their stores that's obvious. But I'm glad they now have a better store manager because all the guys that kept coming in there we're just heading on the workers and doing whatever they wanted to do and I reported it because it's not okay to make a girl feel uncomfortable while the store manager was hitting on the employee like that's not okay you could tell she was uncomfortable. All he did was cold stuff and the entire back of the store was jammed pack of products. So now that it's out out a year later their is a ton of expired stuff on the shelf. So please check dates no matter what store you go to. Most workers in any store just put things out and never check dates. I bought gravy here a few days ago and thank God I looked bc it was 4...

Dollar stores are known for being very messy, dirty, and seriously understaffed. I have been in this Oneonta store twice. It is without doubt the messiest, dirtiest store I have ever been in. I have been in bad stores in cities like NYC, Chicago, etc and this is the worst.

There is more inventory in boxes blocking the shelves than their is inventory on the shelves.

Where is the Manager, District Manager, Vp’s, Pres., CEO, Oneonta, Otsego, and State health departments?

Doesn’t anyone have any pride. How can good conscientious employees hire in, or work there. No wonder they can’t get and keep good help.

Very helpful staff members always willing to help locate items when asked if it got moved to a different aisle or if they have it in back the willing to go check.inside they have a freezer section / refrigeration area plus your regular foods and merchandise that go on shelving for storage as well as displayed in ways all heights and ages can see everything from your folks and knives to car materials as well as both wet and dry foods as well as treats toys colors leashes etc for your pets.
