So I highly recommend you DONT go to Burritt motors and here is why. It was either April or May of last year that my boyfriend and I purchased a 2014 Jeep Compass from them. They were very kind and helpful through the purchasing process I will give that to them. In December we started having issues with the car so we brought it in. We didn’t get a loaner given to us. We had to pay $55 a day for a rental elsewhere. Took them a week to even look at the vehicle because they way over book in their repairs department. So they fix a few leaks we had and told us it’s the control arm that’s cracked and we need to have that fixed. We explained we didn’t have the money right now but we will bring it back in a few days. My boyfriend father offered to pay for it but we didn’t think the car would make it all the way to Burritt so we brought it to another place around the corner from us. They fixed the cracked control arm and turns out the ball joint was cracked too. Got that repaired. Went to drive it off the lot and couldn’t even make it down the street. They told us it’s because it needed new breaks and rotors in the front. So we did that. And it still didn’t work. So we had it towed to Burritts where it again, took a week just to look at it. But this time they were nice enough to give us a loaner after we payed $1300 for a rental while the car was being repaired. So Burritt tells us what the next problem is and we have them fix it. Took about another week to even get the part in they said needs to be fixed. They say the cars perfect and fine we can pick it up. We pay for the repairs and take the car off the lot. Not even after driving 10 minutes we notice it doesn’t drive right. They say it’s because it needs an alignment and new front tires (we literally bought the back tires 2 weeks before and planned on buying the front ones before the keep broke down again). So we go to get an alignment again that’s close to where we live. They won’t even do the alignment because they said that’s not what’s wrong this other thing is leaking. Cool. We call Burritt again and bring it back in. Took them 3 weeks to say “yeah we don’t know what’s wrong with it and now we can’t even get it to turn on”. Beautiful. So they towed the car to the Jeep Burritt. Took them an additional few weeks to fix whatever was wrong with it. My boyfriend knows all the details and quite frankly I’m too frustrated to go ahead and ask him for it all. So we got the Jeep back 2 days ago. Mind you this is after we’ve spent almost $4K if not more in repairs and a rental because they couldn’t give us a loaner for the first month. We are now in March. It’s been 3 months of repairs and misdiagnosis of the car and guess what’s broken AGAIN!? My boyfriend is currently driving the Jeep that won’t go over 20 MPH (and this was one of the issues we were having to start with) and we’re praying won’t break down completely because we have about 4 lights on, to the Burritt Jeep where they have said they’ll have a mechanic drive along with him to see what the issue is. The problem is our original issue was never fixed. We’re out so much money because they can’t figure out exactly what’s wrong. And I bet they’ll make us pay for these repairs too. So all in all if you don’t wanna be out 4K don’t go to Burritt. The amount of financial and emotional strain this has put on our family is absolutely ridiculous. My 5 year old was in the car twice when it had broken down. We haven’t had our car for 3 months because Burritt doesn’t know what they’re doing and they continue to act like all of this is our fault. I will never go here again and will never ever recommend these unprofessional people to ANYONE. I don’t care how desperate you are. You will find better. Only giving one star because I have too in order to...
Read moreHorrible experience. Saturday: We picked out a 2020 chevy van, but were unable to test drive it because they couldn't find the keys. I was told they could make new ones. Monday: I reached out to the salesman. New ones had been ordered & would take a day or 2. Thursday: I reached out again. The salesman said he was "just about to message me". Keys had just come in & we could come in on Saturday. Since I had a commitment on Saturday I suggested we go that afternoon or the next day. I was told they were too busy that day to have it ready for us to pick up but we could test drive that afternoon & pick it up the next day. When my husband arrived the keys weren’t ready. He was informed a new battery had been installed & the van would need to be driven “x” miles to reset codes. Friday: I asked about a spare tire/jack & was told they weren’t in the vehicle. (Wasn't standard to include them). However he found a tire in another vehicle but no jack. I told the salesman to let me know when I could expect the van to be ready for pick up. They didn’t have anyone available to reset the codes. Too busy! I didn't hear from them Friday or Saturday. Monday: Contacted the salesman & was told they are "working on it now." At 2:00 in the afternoon I finally received word that the van was ready for pickup but my afternoon was already booked. Tuesday: 8:30 am I told him I would be over in 2 hours but he didn’t respond so I waited. At 10:30 he messaged that he was ready so I had to change my morning appointments around to accommodate the lack of a timely response. The hood latch had not been repaired prior to pick up so that held things up yet again. Thursday: We realized the keys were not remote start as advertised. Friday: When I asked the salesman about providing remote start fobs he said the van didn't have them. Interestingly enough, we had found the "lost" key under the gas cap & in fact it had a fob with a remote start. I also asked at that time for an owner's manual since one was not in the van. He would get back to me. Monday: no response. Tuesday: the dealer would pay 25% of a new remote start key per their policy. I asked what the price would be & was told he would get back to me. Wednesday: I sent another message requesting the cost. $157 plus an additional $100 to program it. WOW! I suggested instead of paying the 25% for a fob just get me an owner's manual. He repeatedly told me that manufacturer's don't include them anymore since they can be found online. I acknowledged that & reminded him they are about 173 pages long and not reasonable to print for a glovebox. My texts were not answered Wednesday or Thursday. Friday: I called and left a message for the finance manager. No call back. I called again Friday afternoon. He had been “too busy” to call me back. He said he would see what he could do. I didn’t hear from him again. The salesman responded that they could discount a key fob but would not provide an owner's manual & again I should just go with a digital copy or buy one "if I could even find one" since hard copies are a thing of the past. (I do believe hard copies are in fact still provided). Just overall poor service all the way around from start to finish. They don't care about their buyers & they are not the least bit responsive. Steer clear & do your business anywhere but Burritt. ...
Read moreBUYER BEWARE...... Very sorry to even have to do a bad review but this needs to be heard. I traded my 2017 Duramax 2500HD LTZ with a new plow in on another 2017 Duramax 2500HD LTZ that was a Z71 Midnight edition that had been lifted and looked to be a very nice truck with about 22,000 less miles. Seemed like a great deal so I traveled almost 2 hours to make the deal. The minute I got in for a test drive and started the truck the engine light was on, so i didn't drive it, I went back in and told the salesman who instantly took it out back to service to "clear" the code and was told there was no issues it just needed reprogramming. Meanwhile i got all the financing paperwork done, when I came back out my plates had already been changed, paperwork got completed and the salesman generously offered to put more fuel into the truck as I brought mine in with almost a full tank. We drove less than 1/4 mile down the road to gas station, truck tires were chopped so bad it felt like something grinding and also the steering wheel was way off immediately telling me the front end alignment never got done after the lift was installed, that makes sense why the tires were chopped so bad. upon arriving at gas station I made all this known to salesman, who stated they would take care of any issues as this used truck cost me $48,000.00 dollars. Well, not 50 miles down the road the Tire sensor light comes on, then the engine light comes back on, I immediately take pictures and send them to the salesman. As the next day approaches i get a message stating if I drive all the way back they will do a front end alignment for me, if i wanted the sensor issue fixed Id have to buy all new sensors and they would install them as they were aftermarket wheels not factory, even though thats how it was sold to me, the tire issue never even got discussed. So... what to do ?? It will cost more in fuel than an alignment locally would cost plus it would waste about 5-6 hours of my time, thats a no brainer, why take it back? After going back n forth with salesman he decides to refer me to the general manager, who at the time was out on vacation or something. He did call me early this week, said he would check into what all was happening and get back to me, that was Monday this week, as of Wednesday I still received no call back so I called in once again, left another message with the GM. Today is Friday, a full week and no response for anything at all. It has now been 10 days today that I bought this truck, it has not been drove at all since I got it home. It needs a front end alignment, tires, tire sensors and did I mention the after market wheels got special lug nuts with NO KEY to take the wheels off... Sure didn't think spending $48,000.00 on a truck I was gonna need to put money into it before I can start driving it. Sure wish I didn't trade in my truck, it had brand new tires and NO issues at all..... I guess they just don't care about their customers, just making the sale and...
