Harbor Freight — Local services in City of Oswego

I called about a pump and was told it's in stock! Great! I drove 1 hour to get this pump. (I needed it to pull the oil out of my boat before winterizing). Upon arriving to the store I find that all the boxes are damaged, crushed and or holes torn in them.

I spoke to Jasmine about getting a discount on this product because if it is damaged or missing parts I can't return the item to the store.... I am taking a pretty big risk, that's not fair to me. The pump is large and when I am done I would like to keep it stored in the box.

Jasmine was of zero help, she just said it looks ok from the box so no discount, she could have cared less about the time I spent to travel here or the risk I am taking. I did let her know I will be leaving a poor review after our transaction was completed. I have spent a lot of money in harbor freight over the years and this is the second bad experience I have had.

Unfortunately I didnt have the time to travel to Syracuse harbor freight to see if they have better quality unit, So I had to purchase one of these roughly handled gems. This is not a cheap item $151 with tax. Do yourself a favor and go to a different harbor...

I purchased an extended warranty on my 12-ton bearing press, was returning it today after about 8 months for a no hassle no question exchange policy according to the clerk that cashed me out the first time I bought it. It turns out they are true to their word, they did not ask me any questions and did not ask me what was wrong with it. They simply took my extended warranty paperwork and switched out my press for a brand new one in the Box. The gentleman that waited on me was very professional, polite and I did not feel uncomfortable at all during any point of the transaction. If anybody is hesitant on buying there extended warranty with a no-questions-asked guarantee on returns. I would certainly recommend doing so, as they seem to be true to their word. I am a fan of Harbor Freight, when it comes to deals they can't be beat, and they are great for those one off tools and they really have improved their quality on their tools. The Oswego store is a mixed bag, some days you go in there and the staff is fantastic! They're helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Other days you go in... not so much. There is one in particular who has a pretty rotten attitude, that I really don't like dealing with.
