First time ever ordering from here and will def. be my last. Got two combination dinners one bbq pork spare ribs and one sweet and sour chicken. And also went above and beyond and decided to spend the outrageous extra $2.00 for the lo mein in place of the pork fried rice. Once I got home and looked over and tried some of the food I then realized how big of a joke this place really was. First off none of the food tasted like it should it had a blan taste and my bbq pork spare ribs were nothing more than and I'm being "literal" when I say this but it was a pork chop cut up in thin strips and sauced with something other than bbq. sorry and I don't mean to sound like an as*hole but I've done a lot of cooking in my day and I know the difference between spareribs and pork chops! So it gets even better... I opened the sweet and sour chicken to realize that I only got 9 small tini tiny pieces of chicken and the rest of container was the lo Mein! Must be why they charge a dollar more than any other Chinese restaurant around. Wish I could take a picture for everyone to see exactly what I'm describing here. To put in perspective for everyone I would have had to order three times as much chicken that was in the dinner in order to "maybe" fill up! So to kind of wrap up my review its a "great" place to order from or eat at if u don't mind "NOT"getting what u pay for or getting what it's actually supposed to be that u r eating! Good luck to anyone that...
Read moreI ordered a seseme chicken combo meal with no brocoli and Lou mein with an order of crab rangoon and even tho my order was accurate the quality of my food was at best mediocre. The sauce that came with my crab rangoon was not sweet and sour which this the only place I've gotten crab rangoon from that doesn't provide sweet and sour the sauce was some gold colored sauce. The crab rangoon had a very strong seafood flavor to it and couldn't taste cream cheese in it. My Lou mein had a strong oily fried flavor to it and my chicken was overcooked and mainly tastes like very well cooked fried chicken. The food is still edible enough to where I can eat it but I definitely will not enjoy it. I will not go out of my way to order here again if I chose to order here again it would be a last resort type scenario and even if I did that and got the quality food I just did then I would definitely not do business here again. Very disappointing especially considering this came out of a college city where you would think food quality would be a hell of a lot...
Read moreI've heard good things about this place, so I decided to stop on Monday to pick up dinner....now I wish I had made the extra distance and went to Pulaski. I got General Tsos, the chicken(I think) was little bitty pieces that were burnt and hard, all I could eat was the sauce and rice. My husband had the Sweet and Sour Chicken, even his chicken(though good size pieces) were hard to eat. Afterwards I told a friend that we went, cause she raved about them, and said it was the worst chinese I've ever had, she then told me that ownership had changed. Well good luck to them if they continue to serve what they served to us. Never again, I'll go to McD's 1st. Ony thing my husband enjoyed was...
