Wow. I grew up helping to raise, train, and groom champion showdogs. Like 30 over the years. I have owned large and small breeds. Our Maltese puppy is 4 months old. At that age, their fur is cottony. We booked an appt for grooming and cleared our afternoon to accommodate. Jessica had 3 walk-ins waiting, presumably easier wash-n-dry options than a Maltese puppy cut. She turned us away for our appt. But not only that, which was frustrating enough for walk-ins to be given preference, she claimed that our sweet pup was extremely matted as her reason (Not true. Unless she is very inexperienced, she would know this is normal Maltese puppy fur. It changes as they mature.) She insinuated that we were irresponsible and asked whether we had ever owned dogs before! We are in our 40s and again, I have literally owned champion showdogs. She went on to say that our puppy would need to be taken to the vet and sedated(!) to remove the mats. If you are picturing a severely matted dog, you'd be wrong. He has a few small undercoat mats that are perfectly normal and easily brushed with a standard detangler spray, or trimmed out in puppies. She was insulting and out of line. She also was surprised to be told he was only 4 months old. If I had to guess, this groomer is is short on knowledge and experience. She's certainly a bit short on customer service skills. Yikes. Lots of other options for grooming in the area. If you have an easy wash n dry situation, and a load of time to kill waiting for the walk-ins to be processed, maybe you'll be fine. But don't recommend bringing a...
Read moreI don't know our groomers name but she has red hair and doorbell tattoos. We were her first appointment after lunch. She had a bad attitude from the beginning and I was hesitant but my baby desperately needed a cut. She told me 30-45 min and I like to get my dog right away because she will potty at the end of a groom, so we went to Lowe's then waited in the parking lot. And we waited. She groomed another dog. Hit her vape. And we waited. Finally after an hour my husband went in and she yelled at him! Hubby kept his cool and simply asked how much longer, she said 30-45 minutes. We went to Walmart and came back and waited. After 45 minutes I went in and spoke to the manager. I asked the manager to wait until she finished grooming my dog to address the issues but she went in right away anyway. She came back and said I could take my dog before she was finished and not pay or I could wait. The manager checked me out and then explained that for a fee the groomer would have done my dog from start to finish in the 30-45 minute range. Unbelievable. I waited another 10 minutes or so and my dog was done except for the nails. I just whatevered at this point and walked my dog out. She peed on the rug on the way out and I couldn't have said it better myself. I will never go...
Read moreI’m sad to post this review but I feel that I must. The worst place I have ever been to I’m not the type of person to rate this lowly but these people are horrendous. First off I have bout DEAD animals from them. I once bought a hermit crab that I was told was just hidden in his shell but he was really just dead it was then replaced with a live hermit crab. Another horrible experience was the way I was once treated by staff. I once purchased a lizard from the establishment and didn’t know much about the crickets I was meant to feed him so I ask the staff what kinda of food I was meant to feed the crickets and what kinda of storage to keep them in. So the staff lady brings me to this extravagant enclosure for crickets that was like 40 bucks I was not spending 40 bucks on crickets I tell her this and she tells me I’m a lizard murder yeah insane never shopping there ever again.also my lizards doing...
