My order was wrong At first I thought it was because the girl in the drive thru was maybe new, since my drinks didn't contain ice and she didn't give me the sauce packets I asked for...
I went inside after I discovered my order was wrong. I ordered "2 chalupas combo" that's what I said at least , my receipt ended up saying a combo "2" and it was very unappealing to me, so I wasn't going to suck it up.
I honestly wasn't expecting the manager (Tom) to argue with me though, I've worked in retail all my life I understand mistakes happen.... The manager Tom argued with me that I ordered a number 2 not a number 6 and that my order is not wrong! Said this to me multiple times not trying to listen to me. I wasn't upset at all I thought they could fix it. After finally being able to explain I understand what the receipt says I just want the two chalupas if that's possible. Tom Then took my receipt and threw it, turned around not explaining anything to me on how to fix my order and they ended up making my two chalupas. So I got my order but it wasn't worth the trouble, I didn't realize I was going to get such a mean reaction asking if they could fix it. I won't be ever coming back here.
After I got home I checked my boyfriends order, that I had ordered seperatly in the drive thru due to a late text... It was wrong Too. This time the receipt was what I said it was! But the wrong product. so clearly they were having a off day and didn't want to admit it or...
Read moreI stop at this location occasionally since I work in the immediate area. I'll say right now, if you're going here, go through the drive-thru. This location heavily prioritizes their drive-thru customers over their dining room ones. In my most recent visit, I stood at the register waiting for someone to acknowledge my existence for 15 minutes while multiple cars pulled through the drive-thru, got their food, and left. The whole time, not a single employee would even look at the register. I eventually got fed up and left, drove the 7 or so minutes to the Taco Bell/KFC in Malta, ordered and got my food in another 10 or so minutes. It shouldn't be faster for me to drive to another city, order my food, and receive my order than to wait to be served at the location literally next door to my job.
When I actually do get my order, at this location, the food prep is hit or miss, I've gotten mexican pizzas with beans smeared in the corner of the box instead of in the pizza, I've gotten burritos with ingredients squeezed in to half the tortilla, etc.
From my experience there really only seem to be 2 people that work at this location that try to make it a pleasant experience. A slightly older woman who works the drive-thru window later in the day and always has a pleasant tone to her voice, and a heavy set younger man who works the register inside with slightly higher pitched airy voice (the way he talks almost sounds like someone who's whispering...
Read moreI'm very disappointed that I've had to retract my 5 star review of this establishment from a year ago to replace it with this 1 star review. Despite that what I had ordered looked correct on the drive-thru menu screen, what had been printed on the receipt and given to me was not correct. I had ordered a number 2 soft taco with NO lettuce meal and a BLACK BEAN grilled cheese burrito. When I saw on the receipt that it was a number 1 crunchy taco meal, I asked the employee if what was in the bag was indeed the number 1 even though the screen had said number 2 for my order. At that point the staff did correct (partially) that mistake. They still left the lettuce. Not only that, when I asked for this mistake to be corrected the employee took my receipt and did not give it back to me again so I could get my money back from what transpires next. I get home with my food and took a bite into what was supposed to be a BLACK BEAN grilled cheese burrito. What I had been given was a meat grilled cheese burrito. I have been vegetarian for 20+ years and if I had swallowed that it would have made me very ill. And I could not even go back to the taco bell to prove I still had incorrect items as my receipt had never been returned to me.
