Looking for dress saddles for a wedding. Girl in charges never smiled, never seemed to be enthusiastic the entire time I was there and tried on shoes.
She did answer my questions, but seemed frustrated that I asked and it was a favor that she answered.
I was choosing between three pair and wondered where the prices were on the boxes. Ans- bring them here (to the desk) and they will be scanned.
I asked why that was being done - then the customer has to keep running back and forth. (And if the salesgirl is busy checking someone out, or in the back searching for sizes, then I, or any customer has to wait and wait.)
Her answer, I don't know - I don't make the boxes!
Suggestions: Train you salespeople to have a better answer - that was so lame and flip. What a terrible thing to do to customers- you don't want them to know the price because they might be too expensive and not try them on. And conversely - if the like them they will splurge and charge them anyway. So easy to charge! Concentrate on shopping and buying practices that are shopper friendly, that gives them all the information to make a buying decision.
The salesgirl was concerning, but she can be trained. It is the policy of hiding prices that will send me to another place to buy my shoes (and anything else I need so I don't have to run all...
Read moreI'm a student at SU and I needed to get nicer clothes for an interview so I went to Macy's to find something. Their clothes are nice but thier staff is super rude! I had to go to 3 different check outs: the first one was only an online pick counter (I didn't know because I've never been there before), then the second one the lady that checked me out was so rude to me and just throw my clothes in the bag and then she reached over the counter to press the buttons on the card reader for me because I guess I wasn't going fast enough? I've never had anyone do that to me before! Is that normal at Macy's? I'm never going back so I guess I'll never know. Oh! And then the third counter, I had to go back because there was a shirt I got that I thought was on sale because it had a sale sign above it that said 25% off and I had to fight with the staff about it because I guess I was just suppose to know it wasn't on sale and that they put it in the wrong place???? I'm so sad because it was suppose to be a nice little shopping spree and I ended up in tears in my...
Read moreI have been a customer for twenty years, recently had my wedding and shower registry through Macy's, and would shop here frequently. In the last year or so, I've been doing so much less, because they don't seem to care about the safety of their customers. There used to be security, I haven't seen that in years, aside from general mall security hanging out around the exit. They don't keep up on simple maintenance, ie, the lights outside the building. Leaving that store on a date night, no lights, is scary and really makes you wonder if Macy's cares much about, again, the safety of their clientele. And now the recent stabbing. You have got to be kidding me, not employing security at that mall, on black Friday of all days. I hope those two people involved in the stabbing are ok. I know at least for myself, my family and now all of my friends and coworkers, we won't be subjecting ourselves to the potential danger of shopping at what used to be a really...
