Good selection of cigars, cigarettes and tobacco products but owner is a little arrogant to customers. Had an experience today where I spent around 45-50 dollars of my hard earned money on product and i was trying to have small talk with the man at the register. Mike the store owner told me to “sit down or leave, pick one” so I left. I usually do not write google reviews but I just want mike the owner at Rocky’s to know when a customer spends money (even if it’s not on the most expensive product at your store) you should at least treat them with a certain level of respect and like a person. Also the comments I heard staff make about the homeless people where actually very disgusting too. I heard “hey did you see that man out front begging for change? I asked him if he wanted a job and he booked it” and they laughed. Not to mention a few weeks back there was a woman who walked in and was in a crisis and walked out, man behind the counter said “hey Buddha (cigar manager) she’s all yours”and they laughed.I found the extremely disrespectful to women and people with issues or people with life problems in general. I applied for a job at Rocky’s but after the comments that where made and mike saying what he said I have pulled back on trying to get a job at Rocky’s because of the rude comments and mikes arrogant comment. I refuse to be like them or feel like I have to. It’s sad because my family always went there from the 80s until today. I will never step foot in Rocky’s again. Thanks guys you ruined a loyal customer relationship with a guy who used to speak good for you guys to people from all over who would ask me where they could get a good cigar. I highly recommend going to a gas station for cigarettes or a mom and pop smoke shop that’s not Rocky’s for cigars. They might not be a my fathers or a Rocky’s custom rolled but I can promise you if you’re like me you can notice how disgusting the staff’s comments are and how arrogant mike is....

So going to this store for four months and for months o had to put up with some old boy issues. For one the owner is pretentious and obvious undercover racist and tends to act like he smart and isn't and says backward racist things without thinking his comrade well he is on a oxygen tank and stands there acting like he has an issue with me playing my numbers because I had handed him tickets to rescan simple process but like everything else with there bad energy I recommend only seeing the likes of Ms pat and Buddha and the new staff even though some of them they only added to cover there diversity issues at any rate I had to defend my respect because I show respect I had no intention of actually being there due to beig sick but they will try and take you there if they think you are drug user or seller I do see that since Trump got in. Office and wiped dei these guys feel they can do anything I say people spend ya money where you know the respect is mutual and likewise trying actually invovles communicating or debating if some kind I don't remember having any of those with the likes of this owner he still doesn't comphrend his own tongue there for this is how he chooses. Great selection of cigars and everything else you need. Other than that, They are average.one day I bought some lottery tickets and a cup of coffee, sat down where they have little tables with quick draw forms. Started scratching my ticket, and the owner, An older gentleman who isn't heavy set yelled from behind the counter "This isn't a bus stop." Like what the heck?? It made me uncomfortable and felt unwelcomed. So I left.... it wasn't busy, He was just being a jerk. guessing its because I don't smoke cigars in there and only occasionally have bought them.

I usually have gotten ice cream and a bunch of drinks from there plus use the ATM. The guys behind the counter and the lady with a tattoo are kind and never gave me an issue. The bus stop incident happened over a year ago but still it was embarrassing and uncalled for. Other than that, No issues. They don't put up with any riff raff and I understand why. I didn't go back to that place for over a year after that incident. Maybe he was joking or trying to be funny but it wasn't and guess I didn't spend enough there to be able to sit for 5...
