Ordered two mattresses at Kiosk to get free shipping. Store sells no mattresses. Employee places order on kiosk because it would not take the payment. Everything seemed to have gone well after a few attempts. Called to add my rewards number because girl claimed there was no option on kiosk for it. Found out that my order was wrong over the phone. Thought we fixed it. Items got delivered on two small air tight boxes. My son opened his mattress and realized that they sent the wrong size. Called customer service. Carlos was very nice, helpful, and polite. Awarded points, requested a refund because it was over their "threshold" policy. He said keep it or give it away and placed a new order for the right size. We were upset because it was the holidays and were having people stay with us. We gifted the mattress to a friend because there was nowhere to put it or store it. Thought everything was fixed! Never got refund, paid more for a new order because promotion was over. Got charged twice on my card because of different shipping and billing address confusion. Didn't know until I checked my credit card. 1 week has passed, two people later and no results. Two weeks and supervisor and two more people later, no results. One month, a supervisor and another employee later and no results. Two emails with apologies telling me to bring the mattress that came in a small airtight box to a store that won't take the item because of their again, "threshold policy". Two months later, last supervisor assured that I was finally getting a refund within 7 days because of threshold policy. Apologized profusely and here we are two weeks later with another email about bringing an item that no longer exists. I gifted someone an almost $300 dollar matress. I never received credit and the same thing happened with every single customer service employee and supervisor that I spoke with. I've been shopping at kohls for over a decade. It is my favorite place to shop. I never had a problem with my purchases. One mistake made at the kiosk by their employee led to another and another and another. No resolutions. Tons of apologies, confusion, lies, he said-she said, everyone said something different. Noone took responsibility for their actions. I am very dissapointed. I never expected this from kohls. Customer service needs training. Supervisors are incompetent and a particular one name Tony ID #85UA was a horrible and despicable human being. He stated that he did not need to give me any information and that the people I spoke with prior, gave me the wrong information. That he is not required to help me or provide corporate information etc etc. I was infuriated by his lack of understanding, responsibility and compassion. Disgusting!!!! How can kohls treat people like this and stay in business? Now I understand why I see different faces at my local store regularly. I held them on a pedestal and shopped religiously addicted. Sorry kohls, but I have a distasteful feeling in my gut now and pretty much hate your deceitful and irresponsible actions!! You have no business...
Read moreThere was no one really in the store, staff wise on the floor to assist you. This was my first time in Kohl's since their grand opening many years ago so I was clueless of the layout. I got some good deals on T-shirts and jeans, all priced under $17.00, but their prices are pretty steep for me. I did purchase some Hanes products that were a BOGO promo but the 4 items were $60 with the BOGO promo! A package of mens underwear were $32.50. There was no long wait in line during checkout, although it was a Sunday evening. The cashier asked if I had any coupons, and I didn't and he used a coupon which gave me an additional $50 off. I went back the next day to return some of the items and was in line at the customer service desk for over 15 minutes. They only had 1 associate working, another associate was sorting returns. I work in retail so I understand, but I was the only person next in line, but the customer at the desk had several different returns and it was taking some time. I turned around and there was about 15-20 people in line. The associate called to the other associate "Nancy", to assist her about 4x, until "Nancy" came to help. My overall experience was o.k., nice and clean and very courteous staff, the few that were there. It is a pretty big store, growing up this used to be Caldor's. I don't know if I will go back due to the hefty pricing, but might go back for the Sonoma Jeggings that my...
Read moreI give 3 stars just because.. this store doesn't really have the greatest stuff, however some of the prices are ridiculous. I don't think it's worth paying that kinda money for certain things.. I can get much better things and clothing at the max or Marshall's for the same price or even less money. I don't really shop there but some of my family does, so my mom and I went there to buy xmas stuff for them.. we wanted to get 2 kids jackets that were marked certain price on the rack. But them when we checked the price on machine it said it was about $6 more .. we asked a staff lady about it and she checked and said we can just tell the cashier and they will fix it for us. When we got there. Cashier couldn't fix price and then called the kids department. They told her just to tell us that that's the price and period.. so what kind of customer service is that???!!! We were making up a price.. it was marked by them!!!!!! Anyways.. the cashier lady was nice and gave us a coupon for 15% so at least we kinda of got the jackets for almost the price they were advertised for... cashiers are nice.. but the other people working in the departments..just don't wanna bother..helping you.. or fixing their own mistakes.. I know xmas season is busy but then don't male those mistakes... that disappoints customers that are...
